Questions & Answers

I understand that this device was not designed for this purpose, but has anyone ever used the chest sensor on a dog? If you've tried it, how did it go?

An ekg tracing for a dog would be similar to a human ekg in that you would need to shave two spots on your dog and be able to attach two leads. Not impossible, to be sure. I've seen some that are between $100 and $1000. This option is available on ekg machines that cost $200. For obvious reasons, the ones that require direct finger contact would be ineffective on a dog. The leads must be kept at a safe distance from one another. Right arm and left arm, or right leg and left leg, to name a few examples. Get one with at least two wires connected to the device and you should be able to record your dog's EKG. Best of luck.

Is it possible to use this device with an iPad?

I don't think it'll work on an iPad. I don't own an iPad, and I'm not planning on getting one anytime soon. To connect to a computer, this device will require a USB port. A USB port is not available on an iPad, as far as I know.

Is this supposed to be a six-lead?

There are only two people in front. When held in both hands, it is equivalent to lead "1" on an EKG.

Is this device capable of detecting sinus rhythm or supraventricular tachycardia (SVT)?

This, I believe, will be of assistance to you. I was given the letter A- after receiving a diagnosis of A-. In April of this year, I made a false statement. I was scheduled to have a pacemaker implanted, but I was awaiting lung cancer surgery. My surgery for lung cancer was a success. After the surgery, I was unable to recover from my breathing issues. The VA provided me with an electric wheelchair and a hoist so that I could transport it in my cargo van. For the past ten months, my pacemaker implant has been on hold. // The main reason I bought this device was to keep track of my heart rate and any signs of A-fib. Fib. My heart rate fluctuated between 122 and 28 when I was first diagnosed. I was taken off of two beta blockers (one too many) as well as eight other heart medications. My heart has a constant bruising pain that gets worse if I exert myself in any way! Your heart rate is frequently higher than 100, according to you. When you take your reading, you'll notice that your heartbeats are extremely close together on the graph. If it says you could have an A-, that's what you're looking for. It could also be SVT, if you're lying! They offer a variety of ways to take the readings. I get the best readings from my chest, with one end of the device directly over my heart and the other side making good contact with my Index, Palm, and Thumb. If the device does not stop after 30 seconds or so, you most likely have a bad connection and should start over. I get a Normal Reading half of the time and an Expected Reading the other half of the time! It is a good monitor for my needs, particularly for my A-level students. The deception is getting worse! In addition, I discovered a Blood Pressure Monitor that can detect A-type hypertension. On Amazon, there is a lie. It's also a reliable source of information. Medical Terminology I'm Familiar With I hope my ramblings here are of some use to you. Best regards!

When I was admitted to the hospital with chest pain and heart palpitations, this monitor literally saved my life
5/5

They performed an EKG and blood work and reported that everything was normal. I was fortunate enough to have brought my EMAY ECG monitor with me. I held it up to my wrist to show them how high I was! They paused for a moment as a result of this. They kept me in the hospital overnight and ran a stress test and an X-ray on me. They came into my room about an hour later and told me that I had 2 90% blockages and one 80% blockage. They came into my room about an hour later and told me I couldn't believe what I was hearing! I have only 50 years on this planet. It's impossible to say what would have happened if the hospital had simply sent me home. I've had three stents placed in my arteries, and I'm now a cardiac patient. In my opinion, if I didn't have this device, I wouldn't have been able to tell the story for much longer.

accurate
5/5

I am a registered nurse (RN) with over 30 years of experience as a nurse, and I would recommend this heart monitor based on my personal experience. I had already spent more money on two other monitors, but this one from EMAY is the best; it's simple to use, small enough to fit in my pocket, and accurate. My other monitors had missed an arrhythmia, but this unit picked it up. When it comes to diagnosing a problem, you can provide a lot of useful information to the doctor. The Chest Lead is the most accurate and has the least amount of artifact, in my opinion.

This monitor is a FAILURE in my opinion as a retired ICU RN
3/5

As a former ICU RN, I have extensive experience reading rhythm strips and cardiac monitors. I've had Atrial Fib for a long time as well. As a result, I bought this monitor to evaluate my rhythm at home. It is a failure. br> It doesn't provide accurate enough readings to detect P-. Waves (necessary for evaluating A-) The underlying heart's rhythm is obscured by artifact (false squiggles) in the fib) and its readings. br>br>I strongly discourage you from purchasing this item. The Heal Force PC-100 is a far superior product for the same purpose. Easy ECG EKG Heart Monitor Electrocardiogram (80B ECG EKG Heart Monitor Electrocardiogram). Both are portable, but the Heal Force monitor has less artifact and provides a clearer reading. In addition, the prices are comparable. br>br>My EMAY monitor grade is Fbr>On a positive note, the company did give me a refund, so they are honorable.

For those of us with Afib, this is a fantastic little device
5/5

ers. I wanted something I could use at home to see if my Afib had returned after the PVI ablation. I did a lot of research on all of the different home heart monitors before settling on the Emay EMG-100. It's small, light, and appears to be well-made. These are the factors that influenced my decision to go with the Emay: I like that one of the sensors can be held against the chest rather than just the fingers like many other devices; if you want to check your heartbeat, this seems like a no-brainer (think doctor's office EKG). There's no need to wait for someone to check the results or for you to try to interpret the trace yourself because it interprets the test result and tells you the potential issues. It saves the 100 most recent results on the device and lets you download any or all of them to your computer (software is included in a thumb drive). drive). As a result, there is no need to pay for a subscription. The only improvement I can think of would be if the test results could be downloaded to a smartphone or tablet, which is why I only gave it four stars for accuracy. It can't compete with a multi-lead, filtered EKG in your doctor's office. By the way, the EMG-II is a great product. A "possible arrhythmia" was discovered by 10 of the participants. My Afib has returned, according to a trip to the cardiologist. This device continues to appeal to me.

This is an amazing little device! This portable EKG monitor has blown me away! Until I came across this one on Amazon, I had no idea that such devices existed! I bought it primarily to see if I could catch some of my PACs and PVCs on the EKG when I felt like I was having a lot of them
5/5

I recently caught one on this monitor, and the skipped beat is clearly visible on the EKG! The device, on the other hand, did not notify me that it had detected one; instead, it simply stated, "No Abnormal. " The instructions for this device state that it can detect PVCs and PACS, but it does not state that it can detect a missed beat, which I know I had because I could feel it and see it on the EKG. With this review, I'll include a photo of the EKG that shows the skipped beat. I'm not sure if it was just a fluke that it missed the skip beat or if this device doesn't recognize this anomaly, but I thought it was interesting that it didn't notice. This isn't a big deal for me because I know what I'm looking for when I look at an EKG, but I understand that others may not. I'm going to take the "No Abnormal" readings with a grain of salt based on my previous experience; just because it says "no abnormal" doesn't mean there wasn't anything there. Apart from that minor flaw, I think this device is fantastic as a portable device with cutting-edge technology. It syncs seamlessly with my MacBook Pro, allowing me to quickly view and print EKG data. I also believe that having this device gives me peace of mind and allows me to sleep better knowing that I can perform a basic reading of my heart if something doesn't feel right. I would recommend this device to anyone who has been experiencing heart palpitations and wants to see if they can be captured on an EKG readout, or just wants to be safe.

I was very pleased with the outcome because it was exactly what I needed
5/5

Everything about this product appealed to me, and I received it quickly and in good condition, opened it, and started the setup process. In less than 20 minutes, I had a hospital-grade EKG in four leads on my HP computer running Windows 10. Because I am a retired registered nurse with a degree in cardiovascular technology, I was able to measure all of the waveform's components. A basic interpretation will be provided by the device and software as well. I bought the product to see if I had benign PVC (premature ventricular contraction), which I had been diagnosed with, or heart block, which could be life-threatening. I don't have health insurance, so this device and software allow me to do my own monitoring, which would be costly and time consuming otherwise. I haven't had time to explore the advanced functions of the software yet, but it was simple to install using the website and access and use frequently from the icon on my laptop's desktop.
