You can run your fingers over it and it slides with no problem. The only reason I use them is for mobility purposes, but I would NOT recommend them for yoga as well. I'm wondering if you would lose balance and slide right off the mat. I find that they do not even adhere to my tile when I'm using them to transfer off of my wheelchair. SINCE THEY HAVE NO GRIP, THEY JUST SLIDE. WARNING I AM TALKING ABOUT AN UNIQUE PAIR THAT HAS NEVER BEEN WASHED OR WARMED.
