The quality of this shirt far exceeded my expectations. To be fair, I haven't worn it on a hike yet, but the fit was my main concern. I've been disappointed by cheap athletic shirts I've ordered online too many times, but this one fits EXACTLY as I expected. I'm six feet tall. 195 lbs. , 1" I got a LARGE (which is my usual size) and it fits perfectly. It's not a compression fit, but it's just loose enough to keep you cool on a hot day. I would definitely order from them again.
It's not too heavy and doesn't restrict arm movement. Because it dries quickly, it is very simple to clean. Also, it's a very bright white that hasn't faded even after a lot of washing and exposure to the sun. It's cool to wear, so it's not ideal for outdoor activities in the winter. It is the perfect fit for me, not too tight but not too loose. The fabric has a small amount of stretch to it.
This 1/4 Zip pullover is a well-made lightweight shirt with the only flaw being that the sizes are extremely large. I wear a size 40 suitcoat and a MED to an XL running top, depending on the cut of the shirt. Tops that are looser rather than form-fitting are more appealing to me. This shirt came in a MED size, but it was too big even for me. I switched to a SMALL, which is a good fit. br>br>I bought the shirt after looking for a light-weight 1/4-zip LS top for a long time. The material's thickness and weight are almost identical to those of my 'lightest' top (i. e. , a mesh material similar to 'coolmax'). I own a few dozen running tops of various types, designs, and weights, and can confidently say that this is a high-quality, low-cost product. I haven't run in it yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if I am disappointed in terms of comfort, even though I didn't buy it for the SPF factor.
For the money, this is a very comfortable and attractive quarter zip. The color is vibrant, and it appears to be on par with something four times the price. I appreciate everyone who commented on the sizing being a little large in the previous reviews; I usually wear a medium, but I went with the small and am glad I did.
I needed a light collared top with long sleeves to keep the sun off my arms and neck. I need the protection provided by this shirt, which is light and appears to meet all of my expectations, because I spend three to four hours in the bright sun while walking and playing golf. I'd buy more if there were a wider range of colors, but for now, they'll do.
With free shipping from a US shipper, $18 is a great deal. I'm 6'1" and weigh 210 pounds, so a loose-fitting sunshirt with no base layer is ideal for me. The 2XL was the perfect size, not too baggy or long.
as well as being simple to clean I had it professionally shortened because it was far too long (ok for a 6'2" woman, but not for me). Nonetheless, I am ecstatic.
My only criticism is that it runs a little large and the back is much lower than the front. It's a pain because I have to roll the back up to make it look proportionate and to keep it from getting caught on things like bike seats or door handles.
