For my son, I placed an order. He stands 5'8 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. It was a size small, and it was just right.

If he prefers it snug, the large is the best option; if he prefers a little more room, the large is the best option. Because they will shrink slightly, I chose the large size for a small space. For cross training, the medium is simply the best fit.
I'd go with your regular size. This is a good fit for me because I normally wear a small.

To state the obvious. This is very early in the process, so if the product turns out to be of poor quality, I may revisit this review after more use. But, strictly for the purpose of fit and feel, I am 6 feet 2 inches tall and 220 pounds, and I purchased an XL, which fit perfectly right out of the box. The material has a nice feel to it as well. It was very breathable and functional when I used it during a workout. When it comes to long-term use, We'll have to wait and see. However, based on my initial impressions, I'd say I'd buy more for the price.
Excellent shirt.
This is the shirt you're wearing with the cut out sides of your tank top; I didn't realize the sides were so tapered in that they exposed your entire lats (or lack thereof). I like tanks with shoulder coverage, and that's what drew my attention to this one. If you want to wear this tank in public, you'll need to be quite large and have a nickname like "Gooch" or "Hambone" or something similar. It does have a hood and is light weight, which I like. I'm hoping the other tank model I ordered from the same company doesn't have the same ridiculous cutout sides as this one.
The XL fits me perfectly at 6'0 210 pounds. I'm not going to put it in the dryer; instead, I'm going to hang it to dry because I like how long it is and how well it fits right out of the package.
I really like the way it looks, and it's very light. I went out and purchased a few more in various colors.
I have them in every color; I like the material because it's light and doesn't feel "cheap," and it looks great. I believe the "older" versions come with hood laces, which I remove because I don't find it necessary to tighten the hood and the hood still feels comfortable when worn. After about 8 months of use, I would recommend going up a size because they shrink after the first wash or so; I've worn all Larges to the point where they now sit a little above my waist, and I recently bought an XL to see how it would shrink, and it now fits like a L after washing.
I'm tall, so it only came down to my waist, and the chest area was extremely narrow. In addition, I'm a big guy with a lot of muscle. It felt good and seemed to be of good quality, so I'm sure it's a great product. It's just that the largest size is still inadequate.
