For waist sizes around that number, medium seems to be a good choice. I would probably recommend medium for anyone between the ages of 31 and I am unsure if they are outside of that range.

I bought these compression shorts because their price was really good and I wanted to see how they'd do as part of my workout. In the past, I've never really used compression running shorts at the gym, but I recently obtained a pair of them to wear in colder weather and can tell how well they've helped me They are made of an extremely thin and lighter fabric than the running shorts mentioned above. It is obvious that they should be worn under another layer or else everyone around you will discover your religion. In any case, they provide a solid level of compression. I would say that they were able to improve not just my spin class workouts, but also my weight lifting workouts. I cannot stand looking at plain black or plain white every single day, so this color choice is great for me! I very much like the light blue color and the contrast stitching looks very nice as well. Three more would be great If I'm being honest, I would prefer a pack of bright colors.
Size-wise, I feel as though these are on the smaller side. Forgiveness is necessary. It fits just as well as a size medium, with a compression that's less compressive than cycling shorts but definitely supportive. I was nervous about ordering a medium since often sportswear made overseas is built for smaller builds, but the medium fits just fine. There is no feeling of constriction or too much snugness in the fabric. You have definitely gained a fan in me.

The first pack I purchased for my husband was a huge hit, so I bought another one just I would also like to offer my opinion. All that would be bad is if the color changed.
