Questions & Answers

What is the circumference of the hem of the leg opening?

Thank you for your interest in our Hyperflex Training Shorts and for sending us a message! From 12 inches (size Small) to 14 inches (size XX-Large), the diameter gradually increases. Large). Thank you again, and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to message us! br>br>Team Anthem, train hard.

For a size 38, what is the best option?

In terms of sizing, they're fairly accurate. It really depends on the fit you want; if you wear a 38 in jeans but want really loose shorts, I'd suggest going up a size. They have a lot of flex, so you don't have to go bigger if you don't want to. However, they aren't as baggy as basketball shorts. That's something that most people don't want in their workout shorts.

What is the weight of a medium 9" and how long is it from the top of the waist to the bottom of the hem?

Thank you for your interest in our Hyperflex Shorts and for sending us a message! The outseam measurement of a medium is 19 inches, and it weighs about 10 ounces. Thank you again, and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions! br>br>Team Anthem, train hard.

What kind of fabric is used to make these shorts?

They have some flex or stretchiness to them, which I believe is stated in the description details.

The Ideal Training Shorts for $30 When did shorts overtake pants as the most expensive item? br>I recently read an article on Business Insider stating that "athleisure" is "the best thing that has ever happened to your sense of style
5/5

" While "athleisure" clothing can be stylish, the current era of $60 and $70 workout shorts may be the worst thing that has ever happened to your bank account. I went to amazon in search of some new workout shorts and came across the Anthem Athletics brand, which I thought would be worth a try at $30. br>br>So far, these have proven to be the ideal training short for my workouts. These have been a fantastic purchase for everything from lift days to HIIT workouts, Peloton rides to longboard rides. At 6'3" and 205 pounds, the size L with a 9" inseam has been an excellent fit and meets all of my requirements. They aren't as versatile as board shorts, and they aren't as breathable as some of the more expensive brands (though this is barely noticeable). But it's also true that these weren't what I was looking for when I bought them. br>br>Here's the deal: there are a slew of online brands touting themselves as the "perfect training short" or the "best ever workout short. " and it's possible that they're really good. But I'm also aware that at $58-$60, I'm getting a good deal. Loading up on these 'perfect' shorts for $70 isn't exactly a budget-friendly option. I've now purchased three pairs, and if more colorways become available, I'll be purchasing even more. I bought them in size S and would wear them to the gym over my Vuori shorts at any time; they're a great product at a great price!.

I made it through the Savage Race! I bought these because I'm picky when it comes to gym shorts, and this was the only pair I could find that met all of my criteria
5/5

1: Zippered/locking pockets that won't open and spill all of your belongings on the bench or wherever you're working. The position also keeps your phone close to you and prevents it from slapping your knee while you're running.
2: The ties are there to keep the shorts in place no matter what happens. The savage race went off without a hitch. br>br> I was able to keep my car key safe (despite the fact that I couldn't feel it in there). Despite the rough use and conditions, there is no damage to the material. Most importantly, they didn't fall off even when we were completely submerged in water or trudging through mud up to our waists. It's well worth the money, and it's less expensive than most athletic shorts that offer half the features. If you're on the fence about getting them, go ahead and get them. You won't be sorry.

It's very relaxing
4/5

Minor flaws aside, these are the most comfortable gym shorts I've ever owned. The side pocket is deep but not loose, so it keeps my phone out of the way while exercising while also preventing it from flopping around. They're extremely light and comfortable. I was going to give it five stars, but after a few months, some of the threads have come loose. If the pull tab is facing the front of the pants, the left and right leg zippers will unzip. It's currently two threads, which I can live with because I wear them to the gym at least once a week and wash them frequently. I'll update my review if this trend continues. I was planning on purchasing another pair, but I'm waiting to see if they deteriorate further.

The shorts fit well around the waist and legs, but they aren't quite perfect
3/5

When you move around, they don't bunch up and follow you around freely. br>br>I only had two complaints about them: 1) the pockets are too small. 2) The drawstring does not go all the way around the shorts, so if you go too big or don't have much of a back end to hold them up, these shorts will slide a lot. br>br>These are excellent shorts for working out, whether it's for CrossFit or general weightlifting. The lack of a full drawstring makes them unsuitable for activities such as running, and the small pockets make them inconvenient for carrying items such as a phone and wallet while out and about. br>br>If you're looking for a pair of workout shorts that move with you and don't bunch up, these are a great pair!.

I like the way it feels and how the pockets are placed
5/5

I just put these on today for the first time. The fabric is beautiful and has a great feel to it. I'm average height and prefer an 8" or 9" length for all workouts except leg-specific workouts, where a shorter length may be preferable for less friction around/above the knee when performing exercises like squats, etc. (a shorter length also shows off the quads better). I'm thinking about getting a 7" at some point. The pockets are located on the side of the leg rather than in the front, which is ideal. When I throw some heavy dumbbells up on my lap while seated with my phone in one of my front pockets, one will land right on top of my phone if I'm wearing other shorts. These aren't like that. Zippered pockets are also useful when lying on your back or bringing your legs up to your shoulders, as your phone may slip or fall out. I'll update if I discover any issues with durability, but so far everything has worked out well.

Better would have been nice
3/5

The following are some of the features of the shorts that I find appealing: br>br>* The content is excellent - Stretchy and light in weight. They appear to be extremely comfortablebr>* I like the overall design and the heather bluebr>br>The downsidebr>br>* these shorts are extremely large and baggie. I ordered a S and a M to try on for size because the size chart says S is up to 29 waist, and I'm a 30 and the S is a little too big for me. I wish they had an XS for me to trybr>* Also, the pockets on both sides are very deep, so even though the zipper is at the hip, your phone is dangling around mid-thigh if you put it in there. thigh, so you'll have to leave your phone at home if you want to go jogging with these. Additionally, the zippers appear to be difficult to work with. Regular zippers or a folded pocket, such as the Lululemon shorts, would have been preferable for keeping things in the pocket. br>br>I'll be returning the M without a doubt. I'm still undecided about keeping the S.
