While I do not know the Horizon brand, I purchased this treadmill in April and have encountered multiple problems. #1 I received it with a non-working After I contacted their awful customer service about this, they told me that they would send a tech out to replace it since I had a warranty. Unfortunately, they did not send a repairman out to my house, so I had to figure out how to replace the motor myself (which was very hard). #2 One of the supporting metal pieces on the lower platform that allows the treadmill incline to function is missing. A chat agent requested a treadmill replacement for me for me after I contacted the chat service. Well, that was over a month ago and I have not heard anything since. My emails and phone calls to them were not answered. I have attempted to contact them several times since then. My agent said it was taking longer due to Corona. I tried the chat and the agent said it was taking longer. Is that true? It's been over a month and I haven't even received an email with an update? The last time I tried calling today, I'd been on hold for over 40 minutes and just hung My treadmill started going out in April, and I have been having headache after headache ever since. They even charged me the full extended warranty from head to toe, and they treated me like a piece of However, it is a cheaply made treadmill and the customer service is horrible, bad. Overall, this treadmill can be good, but it is poorly built. You might want to look into the Horizon treadmill if you are interested. I am just stating my opinion. A word of caution avoid I do not think it is worth the price. You do however get a free year of it.
The iFit button must be pressed for 30 seconds to skip the treadmill registration process and allow you to use it immediately after pressing it.

Please do not fall victim to scams! Make sure you do your due diligence before purchasing! Following the process of setting up your treadmill and switching it on, you'll see a screen that says "Go to iFit. ". Activate your account by visiting the website. Signing up is required, as it appears you must do so The treadmill will be turned on when you sign up for iFit. A free trial will be started by IFit, followed by an AUTOMATICAL $15 charge. We will ask for your credit card upon the start of the trial. This is equivalent to $1,00 The manual does not state that you cannot start your treadmill before registering with iFit, so you cannot get around it. NordicTrack says that you cannot start your treadmill until registering with iFit, but the packaging does not specify that. It seems like NordicTrak is practicing predatory behavior and I believe that it is criminal.
TO GET AROUND THIS SCAM, hold down the iFit logo on the treadmill for 30 seconds, and your treadmill will turn on. The aim is to help people avoid having to give out their credit cards and personal information in an unwelcome way.

During the installation the installer told me I had to register online for ifit to activate the machine, and once there they wanted me to fill out all my personal information, give my credit card information, download their app, and signup for ifit, which costs $180 annually. My installer persuaded me to sign up and assured me that I could cancel free of charge during the first month. In the end, I went ahead and signed up because I did not have a choice. My next step was to go back in and cancel IFit. I did this after the installer left. When I initially tried to cancel on their website, I was unable to find the cancellation link anywhere. My next attempt to contact them was unsuccessful because I had to wait 30 minutes on hold. My phone call finally ended, so I decided to check out their chat feature. As I kept getting messages saying, "Thank you for your patience while we connect you with the next available agent," I began to lose patience. My phone went dead for half an hour, so I switched to a different number. When I finally got through after waiting for half an hour, they told me they prefer I go online to cancel my reservation. My question was where to find the link to fulfill that request, and they said they weren't It took me until the phone to get them to cancel. Taking it all together, it took only about two hours. This is beginning to look like a scam, so at this point I'm considering just returning the treadmill.

After reading a few reviews I kept raising the price range until I found the qualities I was looking for. I started out looking at the 200 price range, but one review said "don't try to run on it. At five feet two and 196 pounds, I am a small woman. Once upon a time, I was a runner, but then I had children. In between juggling work, kids, and making dinner, I had little time for exercise. Now that I have this treadmill, I am so happy I invested in it. Strong and well-made, this treadmill will last for years to come. When I run on it, I do not feel any shake and it is easy to carry. The delivery company needed me to sign off on it when it was delivered, so I needed to schedule my time to be there. Having received the package in a box of considerable size, they had to unpack it. Two people are needed to assemble it because you have to hold the console piece and connect the wire at the same time. The process took about 30-45 minutes. I gave my husband the majority of the task to accomplish without difficulty. A switch is located at the bottom in the front of the treadmill, which allows you to turn it on after plugging it into the wall.
