Mine moves on carpet, but I just put a storage cube in front of it and it stays put for a long time. a large number of people (thousands)
It's not loud, but it's shaky, so I gave it back.
When I'm sitting in my recliner, I use the Cozylifeunion Pedal Exerciser. If your feet reach the pedals, a sofa should be sufficient. tomas
Keith is correct, and I concur. It is possible but difficult; we recommend doing so while seated in your office chair or on your sofa. Good luck with your day:

PRO- br>br>PRO- br>PRO- br>PRO- br>PRO- It's a little shorter and wider than other models, so it takes up a little more room on the surface or table you're using it on, but it's not as tall as other models. This is a plus for me because I mostly use it as an arm bike, and because it's shorter, it doesn't put as much strain on my shoulders as other models do. br>br>This model also does an excellent job of dissipating heat. If you touch some of the less expensive models, they will heat up to the point where you will be uncomfortable. This model is not one of them.
I like this little peddler, but I'm not crazy about him; Every few peddles, my feet want to slide away, so I have to pull it back in or use the string to keep it in place. The string is a black strap that is shown in photos but has no explanation, so I attached it to the bottom and pulled the device back in with it. If I can find something to mount it on to keep it from slipping, this could be a great device. It was simple enough to put together and only required the knob to be screwed in.
Unlike most reviewers, I purchased this to use primarily as an arm bike, as I wanted a low-cost form of cardio that didn't require me to use my legs, as almost all other cardio is leg-based or dependent. Having said that, I tried it out as an arm bike as well as a leg pedaler. When used as an arm bike, it's a great shoulder workout. Before I can use it effectively for cardio, I think I'll need to work on increasing my shoulder muscle endurance. When used as an arm bike, tightening the tensioner seemed to make a difference, but I didn't notice it as much when pedaling with my feet. That could be due to the fact that my legs are stronger than my arms, but the angle of the limbs could also be a factor. br>br>A couple of minor gripes: It has an unpleasant odor right out of the box. I'm going to try wiping it down to see if that speeds up the process. In addition, the tensioner hole is slightly offset. Screwing the knob in seems to bite into the side just a smidgeon. And using the pedals with your bare hands or feet is a little uncomfortable. br>br>Complaints with a bit more heft: The feet aren't as grippy as I'd like them to be, and they can rotate while in use, making the machine unstable. Also, pedaling backwards isn't the best option. This feels unsteady and causes the machine to rock, and I personally wish the pedals were a little further apart, as I believe they are better suited to foot pedaling than arm pedaling. br>br>Having said that, I believe I received more or less what I expected and that the price was fair.
Setup is simple and straightforward. There isn't as much resistance to the tension as one might expect.
The unit is a little light, but it works fine if you put it on a carpet where it won't slip while pedaling. The tension adjustment leaves something to be desired; it appears that a better design could have been developed, but it works, sort of.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience! It can be a bit squeaky at times. When I pedal at work, I put it under my desk, and if I'm not paying attention, my knees will occasionally hit the underside of the table. However, for the price I paid, it was a good deal.
The item's construction appears to be durable enough for daily use, but the resistance adjuster does not appear to provide much resistance, even when tightly twisted. The adjustable foot strap does not have a quick release mechanism and is instead secured by a philips screw, which is inconvenient but still usable with a minor delay when switching users. In terms of initial use, the unit appears to be adequate for the price; I will update my review after two weeks. Use for three weeks on a daily basis.
