This is another step that I purchased. I wanted more than the four risers that came with it. I found some risers on Amazon that were perfect for this step. Yes4ll Adjustable Aerobic Step Risers are the name of these step rims. I bought two sets because they were only $20 each. I now have a total of eight, four on each side, and I hope this helps! I believe that the additional risers are currently unavailable.
I placed an order with thestep. com
Ours is used outside on a redwood deck and there is no slipping. A carpet, in my opinion, would provide more traction and be less likely to cause slipping.
If you don't want to use the risers, don't.

5 out of 5 stars. It's a pain to get something delivered. The package was damaged when it arrived. The worst presentation I've ever seen. In any case. the finished product. it's amazing br>Sturdy and ideal. br>I began using when I weighed 260 pounds. It was sturdy enough to keep me in place. while doing BLAST aerobics workouts When you jump on and off, it doesn't move around.
br>br>My gym closed in March, and I needed a bigger step to support my weekly workouts; additionally, the first step I purchased was too small (see photos). br>br>I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only is this product well-made and sturdy, but it also does not move or budge during my BODYSTEP workout. br>br>I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality item at a reasonable price.
I use it, and I'm getting close to 300 pounds. It appears to be well-made and secure to me. For added safety, I place it on a non-slip mat. The top is textured and grippy. I feel safe wearing sneakers or going barefoot. It's simple to hide behind a dresser or under a bed. The measurements given in the description are accurate.
Its length and width are ideal for my step aerobics class. Other steps I've tried are either too narrow or too long. I like how the top has a rubber grip.
This is a huge step forward for me. I like that it comes with four tiers and a non-slip bottom. Step works great on my tile floor, and I haven't had any problems. I put it to the test on a wood floor, and it performed admirably. I didn't pay for shipping, so the product arrived quickly. On the 13th, I placed my order, and it arrived on the 16th, three days later.
When I jump on the step, my 175-pound body flexes _slightly_ in the middle. It's not sliding or wiggling, just a slight flex that has a cushioning effect and thus is acceptable to me. br>It also includes two sets of "risers," which allow me to adjust the height to my liking. br>Another design benefit is that the width side edges of the step near the ends have indents, which are ideal for handholds when doing crunches (see Billy Blanks step workout). br>I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. Yes, it would be nice if the risers "friction fit" onto the step so that the entire thing could be moved as a single unit, but that is a minor concern for me.
It arrived yesterday, and it's a lumpy shambles. I'm not sure what went wrong, but the end product does not meet my expectations.
When placed on top of the bench, the surface is smooth and will not hurt your hands, and the risers will not move while in use.
