As part of my open water swim training, I am using a buoy. While it is not a substitute for swimming with a buddy, it is a very convenient way of providing a place to rest and a clearer view. A person can still swim normally while wearing this device.

The belt that supposedly goes around your waist is quite small, which I would say is an overall negative of the product. Despite wearing a waist size 38, I have no luck with it buckleing. I would be able to help more people if that was bigger.

Items stay dry when stored in this bag. I like how it works. Our system was used in the Caribbean in areas where there was boat traffic known to us. Our goods stayed dry because the tarp was durable.
