Five feet six inches tall, I generally wear a medium, and it fits perfectly. In that case I would suggest that you get a small that would either fit perfectly or just a little bit larger.
I know it says "Front zip pockets" in the description, but I can't help but think you are mistaken.

There are a number of benefits to this jacket. It gets me all the ladies from left to right when I wear the jacket. I get water on them as soon as I pull them out. The tears of joy were flowing. Before I know it, they are all over me as I'm walking down the sidewalk. My response to them is politely declining one night stands, and I ask them if they would rather read the bible with me since I am a holy I appreciate you sending me this beautiful jacket, Adidas!.
There are a few things to remember we run Despite his height and broad build, every time he wears an XL or a small size, my teenager looks fat or chubby. The only time he wears an adult medium is really, really rarely. On the other hand, this jacket was about as small as it could have been (WAY too small), and the medium barely fit. My son already wore it, so I am unable to return it. However, I would return it It would be strange to wear a large due to the arms dragging! Material that is cheap. Adidas is usually a big hit with us -- The decision is hard to make here.
It is one of the nicest jackets I have ever bought. With a beautiful dark/carbon finish, the zipper handle is well made and feels good to hold.

It is of Adidas' usual high quality in terms of material and stitching. This jacket is expected to last a long time and I will update this review if it does not. I'm glad to have purchased this item.
There was an odor of chemical or plastic in the beginning of the shipment, as other reviewers have expressed. hang it on a hangar for a few weeks before gift wrapping, and I almost no longer noticed the smell after that. Unlike what I would have paid at Macys, I saved about 30 dollars compared to the price I would have paid on Amazon. The recipient loved it (90 percent of odor was gone, and just needed to be hung up to dry out) and it was less expensive. It would have been five stars if it weren't for having to get rid of the odor.
It keeps the cold wind out and keeps me warm while hiking in the winter in California, since water just slides right off of it. It also insulates the heat generated by your body, so you stay warm.
