I'm a 44, and the xxxl is perfect for me. I recommend selecting a size based on your usual size. I've found that the same size I wear in the starter brand translates well. They're very stretchy, so they'll fit even if you're a size smaller or larger. If you want to protect yourself from the sun, get the large size.

In regular bottoms, I wear a size Large, but for these compression pants, I ordered an XL and they are perfect. As a result, I advise you to take Option 1. 2 sizes up (depending on your desired fit). br>br>Last but not least, the design is extremely appealing, with excellent detailing.
It would be nice if the fabric were a little thicker. There is heavy seam reinforcement and it is 50 spf, but the overall fabric is see-through with enough stretch and contour that you CANNOT go commando with these guys. A double panel or liner around the crotch area is highly recommended. To counteract this, I wear swim trunks underneath, but it's a consideration for the future. It has a great feel to it and is quick to dry. It's great to have a thick waistband. True fit. br>br>I'm 5'4 170 pounds and purchased a large, which fit perfectly without causing any discomfort or painful compression. In the water, it's fantastic. br>br> Although there is no real insulation and the material is thinner than that of a swimsuit, it is still ideal for pool or water sports as well as the gym.

I'm not sure what everyone else is going to do with these, but it gets cold in the hospital, and these go unnoticed under scrubs while providing adequate compression. At the gym, I've also worn it under my shorts. The colors are exactly as shown, but the tags are a pain to remove until you're sure you'll keep them.
