This is a review that may help others decide on size, since those are the most helpful My height and weight are fairly proportional for a girl of my weight of 150ish pounds and 5'5". In this case, I bought the XL because I wanted the shorts to not be awfully tight and I already had boy shorts in this brand, so I knew an XL would fit fine. They appear to be durable and flexible based on my use of them while kayaking. Swimming seems to be a good match for them due to their thickness. I'm hoping to have a little more coverage next month because I'm going to a triathlon then.
