I have never worn a hat as cool as this one. When it's hot, I usually sweat all over my face, but with this hat I don't. As I feel wind on my head, I can actually feel it. Its light material keeps the sun from heating up my head, and its material at the top keeps the sun from bothering me while I sleep. It's just the right length for keeping the sun off of my face when it's sunny outside. The first time I wore it, I had to adjust it to keep it centered above my ears - If it sat over my ears, I would lose hearing. You can easily do it It looks good, but not perfect. The cap is good for running. The material dries quickly and is both lightweight and comfortable. I washed it in the wash with the rest of my laundry and it came out OK.
