I purchased these socks for my grandson, who wears a size 1 1/2 shoe, and I purchased a medium size. I can turn them over quite a bit, so I think a small would be sufficient. The socks are very durable and stretch a little to accommodate growth. I hope this has been of assistance.
These socks are fantastic. I believe I now own four pairs, but they are not compression socks! I use them as everyday "supportive" socks at work and when playing baseball (usually with an ankle sock underneath for added cushioning). I prefer them to the similar Under Armour all-weather shoes. Socks for sporting events, baseball, and football. The Adidas ones are stretchy enough to make them easy to put on while still being supportive, and they aren't overly thick, so they feel light, as if they breathe well and help wick sweat. My height is 5'9" and I wear a size 9 shoe. 5 shoe), and the Large in these comes up to my knees easily; Without having to pull them up super tight, they'll probably fit with an inch or two to spare. The current generation of UA socks has been wearing out in the heel for me very quickly (the previous generation UA socks wore out in the heel for me after about 4 months). 5 years ago, the heel was also worn in first, but they lasted for a couple of years with moderate use). I've only had the Adidas socks for a few months, so I can't comment on their durability, but they've shown no signs of wear thus far. If you need a more supportive "compression" sock, look into a GRADUATED compression sock like those from Wanderlust! I use them when I umpire baseball games and am on my feet for anywhere from 4 to 8 hours. When I have a 9-hour shift, the Wanderlust helps with foot and calf fatigue. Double headers in the first and second innings. After 7 hours of umping, my feet and legs are still sore, but it's a lot better than wearing plain OTC socks like the UA or Adidas. The Wanderlust compression socks are a little trickier to put on, but they keep me warm all day. I also have a pair of Nike OTC compression socks, but getting them on is a pain. They work fine, but the Nikes are not to be recommended.

I bought these Adidas Utility Socks for my soccer-playing 10-year-old boys. We had previously used these socks, which came as part of a package with the team jersey. My boys loved those socks so much that I wanted to order them online to take advantage of the lower price. This is the exact same product that I was looking for at a reasonable price; it is very soft, stretchy (need this feature to accommodate shin guards), and comfortable for long practice sessions.
Soccer socks that are fantastic. The extra-large My 6-year-old son, who wears a size 13, found the small to be ideal. 5 shoe. It was a good fit over his shin guards, just below the knee, and snug but not too tight on his foot.
I use these for soccer games once a week. I'm 6 feet tall, so I get the large. They were a perfect fit all the way up to my knees. They're thick and snug, and they feel great on the legs when you're running. Because of the perfect compression, they will never ravel down. My only issue is that after a few months, I notice that they develop holes at the toe tips, which quickly expand. It might be a good idea to add an extra stitch to strengthen this area. I keep my toenails extremely short, so I'm confident that this isn't the issue. br>However, because of the way they look, feel, and fit, I will continue to purchase them. This is a great sock.
When your socks fall down around your ankle, I despise it. That's why I started wearing socks that go over my calf. I've tried a few different brands and they seem to work fine, but they're a little too snug? I'm not sure how to put it, but these socks are extremely comfortable. They're secure and reach all the way to the knee. Some might argue that for a pair of socks, they're a bit pricey when compared to others that come in a pack of several for the same price. These socks, on the other hand, are already worth the money due to their comfort and knee-high height. I don't have enough experience with them to give an honest assessment of their durability.
We went to a sporting goods store in our neighborhood to get some baseball equipment. We were in desperate need of some green socks - All of them had left. I bought these online with trepidation, unsure of what I was getting myself into, but I took a chance. We were fortunate to have done so. These socks are a lot thicker than the rest. These socks are far superior to the ones I've seen in stores. The elasticity is excellent, and the sock padding is of high quality, making the shoes extremely comfortable. These will serve you well if you require athletic socks.
This is the best pair of socks I've ever bought for my son. He's been playing soccer for almost five years and has experimented with a variety of styles, all of which are lightweight, breathable, and not too thick and bulky. They're also softer than any of his other socks, and they appear to be made of a fantastically stretchy material that hasn't lost its shape or thinned out over time despite numerous washes. I'll be purchasing more of these in the future.
7 y. These were the softest socks ever, according to my daughter, who wore them to practice once. They were, however, completely destroyed after only one wash and dry. Nothing else in the load of laundry was ruined, so I have no idea what happened. Such a letdown.
