I should have read the reviews before purchasing. I'm a 2x/18 woman who usually wears men's L or XL, but I planned to wear these over my clothes or bathing suit while on a cruise, so I chose XL. These are similar to dresses with WIDE batwing sleeves. I contacted the seller and requested a refund or exchange. Keep in mind that this isn't your typical khols/UPS Amazon return drop-off. These come in a GIANT size!
Other websites claim to be able to reach a temperature of up to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. It usually provides at least some protection if you can't see through it. Clothing with specific UPC claims is still the way to go. It's not a bad idea to look into those assertions as well.
These shirts are fantastic. They have the sensation of being cool when it's hot and warm when it's cold. It may appear strange, but they are effective. I wear them all the time because I like how they fit and feel.

And then there's the fact that this creature is swimming on him. I wear a women's 3XL and have no trouble putting it on. This isn't going to be a minor issue. I had no idea it was non-returnable, or I would not have ordered it in the first place. I'll be contacting Amazon customer service in the hopes of getting a resolution, as it's not at all what was advertised. The only reason I didn't give it a one-star rating is because the shirt is quite nice. I'm just not sure how you'd go about finding the right size, especially since another reviewer said it was too small.
This review is being written in the hopes of assisting someone with sizing issues. br>I am 5'8" and 178 pounds, and I ordered a medium size, which fits perfectly; my arms are an average length of 20 inches from shoulder to wrist, and it is a comfortable fit. br>However, if you want it to be too loose and the sleeve to extend past your wrist, order a large, which is too big, and I would not recommend ordering a large. br>If you're 5'6 to 5'8ish and weigh 160 to 185 pounds, a medium size will fit you well. br>The quality is good; I ordered it to wear under my son or to work in the garden or landscaping. br>Best of luck to you.
I was in Cabelas, perusing the Huk Performance and Columbia fishing shirts, debating whether the $35 price tag was justified. I decided to do some online research to see if there was a better option for my wallet. I'm so glad I took the chance! I'm 6' 0" 185lb and in 99% of shirts I'm a medium in the torso, but a large across the shoulders and arm length- I'm a medium in the torso, but As a result, I purchased two of each size. Fortunately, I only needed to open the medium because it was a perfect fit, very similar to the Huk long sleeve on which I was considering spending nearly four times as much. I'll either buy three more colors of the A4 or more fishing equipment with the money I save this summer while wearing this shirt. It has no tags, is light and breathable, and the seams 'appear' to be of good quality. The only distinct between this and the Huk is the Huk's 10% spandex that makes it a stretchier fabric. That, and the free publicity Huk receives from you wearing their large logo across your chest, back, and sleeves. Six out of five stars - exactly what I needed at a fraction of the cost I anticipated.
I now have three different colors of these shirts. I'm a road cyclist, so I purchased them primarily for athletic purposes. They offer more sun protection than short-sleeved jerseys and will likely keep me cooler on hot summer days. On hot days, I'll "prime the pump" by dampening the fabric that covers my arms and chest before starting the ride, which makes the shirt feel more comfortable and cool as the moisture evaporates. These shirts act as a windbreaker and keep you warm on cold days. I wear a small waist pack to replace the pockets on the back of a traditional cycling jersey.
However, the way they come out of the wash bothers me. Unless I use a gentle cycle with mostly just these types of shirts together, they go in with no stains and come out covered in them. Fabric softener is also not allowed to be used on them. His seams had loose threads for the first few days he had them. This is something I can fix, but I don't want to worry about in a brand new shirt. These are just a few things to consider when shopping. They're not bad; they're just a little more work to care for, which isn't something I prefer with five children.
These shirts are fantastic once you know your size. That is to say, you should do some research and read reviews from people who include their own body weight and height. br>As an example, I'm usually a medium. br>However, by doing some research and reading, you can find out more. br>After some consideration, I decided that a small would be a better fit for me. It was also the right size for me. br>In terms of quality, they're on par with, if not slightly better than, the industry standard. br>On the other hand, they're half the price of similar-material brand-name shirts. These will take a long time to dry. SPF long sleeve shirts are what they are.
I've purchased this item in a variety of colors on several occasions. The final two items, on the other hand, were missized. The shirt inside was a Small, despite the fact that it was labeled as extra large on the outside of the package. Mis- There's a label somewhere. Inventory should be checked. Because it was not eligible for return, it was donated to a nursing home closet where it could be used by other patients. Dad really likes these shirts and pants, so I was disappointed. I'm a "tall medium" - tall, but not too tall. I'm 6'0" and weigh 165 pounds. In the summer, I've been looking for breathable long sleeve shirts to keep me cool while mountain biking. Others I've tried had neck holes that were far too large and sleeves that were far too short; I ordered a medium to try on, and the neck is just right, and the sleeves reach all the way down to my gloves on me. Bottom line: I'm happy with it, especially for the price, and I'm planning to buy more now that I've confirmed that the fit is right for me.
