Questions & Answers
This is a question for which there is no straightforward answer. I'm a fairly warm-blooded individual who lives in Minnesota. I paired it with a long-sleeved T-shirt. Down to 25° F, wear a button-up shirt or a polo shirt. When it's that cold outside, I rarely stay outside for more than a few minutes in just this jacket. It layers well with a fleece jacket that I also own, and I think most people would find it to be a good spring or fall coat. It does a good job of keeping the rain off of you. In the frigid Minnesota winter, I would not consider it a jacket to be worn for long periods of time outside.
Good for medium-sized groups. It's starting to rain lightly. It's well-made and water-resistant.

On a chilly day, this is an excellent choice.
My height and weight are 5'11" and 195 pounds, respectively. The Large is a good size. However, keep in mind that it is lightweight and stylish. This jacket isn't waterproof, but it's water resistant. It will wick some water, but don't be surprised if your shoulders start to feel damp after a moderate shower. I use the "Storm" gear from Under Armour, which is far more effective.
It is true to size; I wear a large in everything and it fits perfectly. It wicks away moisture and keeps you dry. It has yet to be tested in a downpour. Layers are recommended because it is not particularly warm. The hood is large enough to keep water out.
Run small.
It's light and breezy, like a windbreaker. Overall, it's a stylish jacket. It's light and breezy, like a windbreaker. This isn't the one for you if you're looking for something heavy-duty.
It's light, but it'll keep your body warm for a long time.
The Under Armour Tactical Softshell Jacket was well-fitting and attractive, but I've never been so disappointed in a jacket before. The fabric appeared to be prone to snagging. It was as light as a button-down shirt, with a mesh lining that was even lighter. I'm not sure why you'd wear this out if it's neither waterproof nor warm. I got a refund when I returned it.
