I purchased this for my daughter, who is ten years old. Although she is still tiny, I bought a youth large for her since she does not like things too It's hard to get her to wear clothes she doesn't like. Neither the liner nor the built-in underwear can be on her athletic shorts, and they have to be comfortable as well. In addition, since quarantine we have seen her getting worse because she doesn't have to take off her pj's very often. Despite the fact that she has a limited budget, she was happy to find shorts that fit her.
