A pair of Youth Large socks will fit a shoe size 1 in a child's shoe. If you're looking for a better fit, try Men's socks.
These socks were purchased for my son, who wears a size 7. They stretch nicely, so they'd work if his foot was a little smaller or larger. They aren't slipping down his calf. These socks are something I would buy again.
It is suitable for shore sizes 13 and up. 5 - 4 youth
This size is unsuitable. I purchased a youth Large for my 14-year-old son. The shoe is a perfect fit for a woman's size 6. However, they are available in smaller sizes, such as youth small.

UA socks are exactly what you'd expect. A sizing chart, on the other hand, would have been helpful, so I've included one in the photos. My son (who wears a size 6) technically requires a larger size. 5Y) but he doesn't seem to mind. Hopefully, there won't be much shrinkage after washing.
Socks are a no-no for my child. they are despised by him I even spent twice as much on specially designed "seamless" socks for kids with SPD, and he flipped because he felt a bump on the seam by his toes. THESE SOCKS ARE A HIT WITH HIM. The seam is difficult to describe, but it's as if it doesn't exist at all, including the "bump" on the sides of his big and little toes. If your child suffers from clothing-related sensory issues (READ: SOCKS) Take a chance on these! I wish the cut had a wider range of options. (crew, no show, and ankle socks) I'm going to buy another pair of these exact socks! Thank you very much, UA!.
My son wears a 3youth and the large fits him perfectly; however, because my child is thin and has always been on the lower end of the percentile, they may be too small for a child of average height and weight.
I consider socks to be the most important item in a child's life, so I am picky. So far, these socks have been excellent. My son adores them, and I appreciate how they still look brand new after a few washes. He enjoys the softness of the wood and the ease with which he can glide across it.
