Yes.
They are more appropriate for an adult than for a child. br>They're full leg, hip, and tummy height for my 5-year-old son.
That works fine, but I still use sock tape to keep things in place.
It would be determined by your son's height and leg length. It's easiest to use a cloth tape measure to measure from the ankle to the mid-thigh. Knit socks have some stretch, so they don't have to be exact, but it's still a good idea to measure. Based on the average height of a ten-year-old, my guess is 24", but it's best to measure.

The color transitions between stripes are a little sloppily done. Apart from that, they appear to be well constructed. br>br>The socks fit perfectly when we first received them, but they shrank in width and girth (especially girth) after being washed and dried (low heat setting in the dryer). They've shrunk in size. They could be used as hats by the smaller nephews. br>br>I'm only deducting one star because I don't have much experience with hockey socks and don't know what's considered standard, but shrinkage is definitely something to consider if you're in the middle of a size.
My son loved these socks, and we loved that we could spot him in practice or at a game where everyone else was dressed the same. However, the socks wore out after only 6 or 8 wears. He had two holes at the end of the season, whereas another pair of socks we bought from the rink store lasted the entire season and had no holes. Overall, it has a heavy feel to it, with vibrant colors that have been washed well, but the hole is disappointing.
I was hesitant to order online because you never know what kind of quality you'll get, especially when it comes to clothing. These are not only in the team colors, but they are also of excellent quality. I like how thick and nice the socks are, and I think they'll last a long time.
The socks are great for the size and material, but I took one star off because the stitching is a little sloppy, resulting in color washing in from the color above or below the stripes on the socks. These should be sorted out by quality control and possibly sold as defective at a discount. Otherwise, these are fantastic socks!.
These Hockey Socks do exactly what they say on the tin. They're just plain knit socks. I chose the intermediate because I am 5'7" and they are very comfortable. I do not know if they shrink in the dryer because I hang dry them. I've been using them for about a month and there has been no fading. The hockey tape has come off after each skate and it has held up quite well.
I'll be using these again next year, and the year after that, as long as my mite doesn't grow too tall too quickly. In addition, the color was perfect. This royal blue is very nice.
My son didn't like the color pattern as much as he expected, but the bigger issue was that they didn't hold up well and developed holes after only a few practices of hockey.
I wish they were a little more compact. My son can't wear them unless he covers them with a lot of tape. However, they appear to be of adequate quality and thickness.
