As well as the sizes, I do not understand them. Can you tell me what size this is?

A boys youth XS size is meant to fit a waist size of 22 to 24 inches, according to the Under Armour sizing chart. 23" in length. Any other questions you have can be directed to us via our contact form.

Can you explain why the small and small youth are different? I do not understand how the sizes work. ?

Items in youth small from Under Armour are of children's size 5 to 6 and in medium youth are of 8 to 12 years old. This is the 10th anniversary of the company. The information I provided may have been of some help to you.

My grandson is 7 and wears a size 8, is this the small size for him? I haven't shopped for young boys for a while, is this a small size?

Perhaps he will have trouble fitting into it. It may be best to look at Small Youth A young child shouldn't be left alone unless he's a big one

As soon as I ordered these, Amazon said they were shipped by United Airlines, I checked their status on the UA page, and upon receiving them they show they arrived from Sports Only, they have all of the UA tags, but I believe they are knockoffs. On their packing slip, it says they came from Under Armour, and I can compare the shorts to the specific ones in a different color that DID come from UA. The ones from Sports Only are see-through, feel cheaply made with odd stitching, and have see-through material. These shorts are very different from my son's shorts from last year that came from the UA store, which were the same exact shorts in a smaller size. I will now have to send all of these back, because everything else looks cheap and doesn't fit right. There is some evidence that Amazon is doing this, telling you their brand ships and sells, but then supplying the shipment from a third-party company. There is no way these will hold up to a wash, since they are thinner than starter clothes from Walmart.

A gymnast's practice occurs for about three and a half to four hours a day, so this is ideal. The legs of these shorts are longer than those of other athletic shorts, so when my son is upside down they don't reveal his undies. I highly recommend it These shorts are very popular with him.

The fabric is amazing and the fit is great. As well, it is in a great color and fits well. My height is 5"4 and my weight is 130 lbs. It was exactly what I expected - shorts that come just above the knee.

Under Armour is my favorite brand. It was a cool way to keep my grandson cool during the summer. It is a product that I will be purchasing more of in the future. Make sure the water is clean. The material is of good quality.
