large in comparison to medium. My 8-year-old is 4'5" tall and weighs 80 pounds, so he fits into the medium size.
No - My son's goalie cup is worn over his pants.
My stature is nine feet tall. A medium is appropriate for a 5-year-old. In terms of length, they're ideal. He's in his late fifties, and he's approximately 56 years old 57”. If he's taller than that, I'd recommend a large.

My 7-year-old son prefers to wear leggings with shorts all winter, so I've been on the lookout for some new pairs. We have a variety of them already. The Nikes are fantastic, but they are a little thin. We tried the Baleaf brand, which are nice and thick but not long enough (my son is tall, but all of the other leggings we've tried fit perfectly; I'm not sure what the problem was with the Baleaf ones). We tried the Telaleo tights with the intention of giving up and buying the more expensive Nike or UA tights if they didn't work. These, however, are outstanding! They're a little thicker than the Nikes (but not too thick!). They are very popular with my son, and the price is very reasonable. I'm sure we'll be purchasing more in the future.
I purchased a M for my 11-year-old son, who has a slim build. It is a perfect fit. He'll be wearing these a lot during baseball season now that the socks have been pulled down to show length. br>Sorry for the poor picture quality, but he refused to finish his Xbox1 team game.
For my younger 11-year-old, I ordered a medium size. He is about 75 pounds in weight. These are a perfect fit for him, and he enjoys how comfortable they are. I would definitely order from them again.
My son, on the other hand, adores them, and they are exactly the right size for him. I chose a Small based on the size chart, which stated that it was suitable for children aged 8 to 12. It gave me a 9 when I thought it would give me a 7. Some room for growth for a 5-year-old (he's slim and stands at 49" tall). However, because these are "just right," I'll be able to wear them through the spring before switching to a Medium in the fall. In most brands, the Small corresponds to a boy's size 7 pant. If that helps anyone, I measured them against his favorite Levi Denizen (Target) size 7 jeans and they are the same length. I'd still recommend them because the material is roughly twice as thick as the material on a different brand we ordered. You'll need some that are durable for active/athletic kids. These are what my son wears under his shorts when he plays basketball and tennis.
At 55 pounds, I'm probably a tad taller than 48". My son is a slender young man. For jui jitsu, the pant was ideal. They still have some room for him to grow into, but they're perfect for his no-gi juijitsu rolling. For the same reason, my older son is required to pair these. Excellent quality that has withstood the test of time. My boys claim to be able to feel the material cooling them down. My boys wear these all the time when they're running around the house for no apparent reason; I guess they like them!.
These are thick and long-lasting, but they are a fraction of the price! They are comfortable to wear and easy to clean. In the fall and winter, it's ideal for casual wear or sports activities. My seven-year-old is a size XS, and my nine-year-old is a size M. They are both of average/muscular build and stand tall for their ages.
I used the sizing chart provided and found that the size M fits my son (10 years old) perfectly, with enough width and overall stretch to last him a good 6 months of growth. According to him, the fabric is soft and comfortable, with just the right amount of stretch. They didn't need to be yanked up because they didn't slide down. They are not going anywhere.
He wanted a name brand pair, but I couldn't justify the cost, so I went with these, which are of good quality and don't appear to rip easily. My son is approximately 46"/47" tall and weighs approximately 85 pounds. The medium fits perfectly, proving that the size chart on the website is correct. These leggings come highly recommended by me! I'm going to get him a new pair because the price is unbeatable.
