All of the Mizuno baseball pants we've owned were thick and opaque. Russell and Nike white pants, on the other hand, are more see-through in my opinion.
I'm not sure because I've never had to return anything I've purchased.
Hello, my son was the same size as yours, so we ordered a medium.
I recommend measuring his waist because these run small and are best suited to slim, tallish children. My son is 76 years old, and the medium is starting to feel too small for him.

Exactly what I needed! My daughter, who is 4, is wearing the Youth Small, which fits her perfectly. She has a very narrow build and all of the other brands ran way too big in the waist for her at 5', 62 pounds, and a "22 waist. " She is 5', 62 pounds, and has a "22 waist. If you have a very thin child, I believe this is the brand for you.

These are now our favorite baseball pants of all time! We've always purchased name-brand athletic pants from the sporting goods store, but the knees have ripped.
