Selected User Reviews For Champro Boys' Traditional Knicker Style Knee-Length Baseball Pants
We went with knicker style because his old UA Lead Off (great pants) XS still fit in the waist but were too short, and Smalls were the right length but too big in the waist. Easton, Mizuno, and these Champro were among the brands we tried. All three brands have similar material and construction quality, but Champro offers a significantly better value. The waist size of the Easton sz S is identical to that of the Champro XS, but the Easton length is a good 2-inches longer. Because they were 3" shorter, they stayed above his knee. We sent them back and ordered a second pair of Champros, which are perfect, as well as a pair of Champro pants with adjustable inseams, in the hopes that they will work as well. Seriously, this brand is just as good as the "big names" at a fraction of the cost; well done, Champro!.
I took a chance on Champro and was extremely pleased with the results. Champro youth XL and adult SM are nearly identical in size and fit perfectly. The material appears to be of good quality and weighs somewhere between UA (very thin) and Mizuno (thick).
WTH! I ordered the EXACT size that my son is currently wearing in this brand. br>THE END RESULT: The waistband is 1" wider and the length is 4" longer. HOW! WHY! GEEZ! br>br>I swear, buying clothes on AMAZON is always a hassle. br>While free returns are great, the hassle of starting a return and seeing it through to completion is exhausting.
The Champro knickers fit true to size, with a wide waistband and a perfect length. He only wears this brand of knickers, which he considers to be the most comfortable baseball pants he owns. My 8-year-old year-round baseball player and I both highly recommend it!.
I bought these for my 9-year-old son, who plays travel ball and LL, and he loves them. He usually wears Mizunos, which he has three pairs of. Champro, Easton, and Mizuno knickers were all compared. The Easton and Mizuno shoes were more snug. Champro's fit is a little more baggy, but they're still a great pant for the money.
I bought the dark gray pants in youth XL for my son three months ago, and they fit perfectly. I bought a light gray pair in a youth size XL because they fit so well, and they're HUGE on him! The fit is completely different, despite the fact that the pants are the same brand, size (supposedly), and seller. I layered the dark pants over the light gray pants, and the legs and hips are several inches apart (the waist, however, is the same size). I was going to return them, but I'd already ripped off the tags, assuming they'd fit the same way. I was let down.
Champro is the best baseball pants brand. They're thick but not too hot, and they're long-lasting enough to last a season or more. We keep these pants as white as new by using a Fels Naptha soap stick and a Fels Naptha soap stick. When it comes time for a new pair, I will definitely choose these.
I like that these knickers aren't scratchy, and my son likes the weight, which isn't too heavy but not too light that he gets hurt sliding (he does, however, wear slider shorts underneath). These knickers wash well for the most part. However, despite using numerous stain removers, some clay dirtied my stain. These are fantastic in general.
