I saw a lot of gloves that had two seams at the tips of the gloves, making it very difficult to use my cell phone. These gloves have one seam and I am able to use my phone without any issues. Having large hands is one of my characteristics as a female. I found the large size of the children's jacket to be perfect. Obviously I haven't washed them yet so I do not know how they will hold up but I am really happy with them so far.

This is a great lacrosse glove for a beginner

The gloves I had in mind for my daughter originally came from the kids lacrosse gloves category. In my days as a player, my gloves were padded and different however, as a beginner, she does not need the padding during a game, so her fingers are protected by another player during a game. She just needed the gloves to be warm and hold the ball. All in all, these worked out fine.
