It's called oceanbroad rather than oceanbored. China is where we make our products.
Yes, the paddles float when submerged in water.
I'm not sure how much it weighs, but it's not a lot. 120 lbs, 5' tall I'm confident that I'll be able to handle it.
I use them with a sit-on-top kayak and they work great.

This kayak paddle has a sturdy aluminum handle that snaps together more tightly than most, and it floats well until you can get it back. I had the opportunity to test this paddle in a river, marsh, beach, bay mouth, and creek. It did a fantastic job of standing up to the test of time. The paddle ends are very firm, so I beached myself on sand and stone and was able to push myself back into the current with this paddle. It does a good job of displacing water while keeping you on track. Each handle is wrapped in a soft material to prevent blisters and increase grip. Water dripping prevention is built into the paddle ends. Field is similar to Stream plastic/aluminum paddles are available at sporting goods stores, but the blade is far superior. It's a budget paddle, so don't expect it to last for multiple days, races, or professional use. Having said that, it holds up well and is comfortable to wear all day. The logo and design are both clean and straightforward. Oceanbroad will be my go-to store for more products and paddles.
The first day, the paddle broke. I went on an eight-mile kayak trip. EDIT: Wouldn't recommendbr>br> They made an attempt to contact me and are sending me a replacement paddle. Customer service that is outstanding!.
These paddles are fantastic! br>At first, I assumed the entire thing was made of metal (yes, I read the description: ) and discovered that the paddles are made of a tough plastic that is nicely curved for more powerful strokes. The part of the metal bar that you grip is covered in a soft material that is gentle on your hands, does not feel cold to the touch, and appears softer than the rest of the metal bar. br>Another feature I enjoy is the ability to adjust the angle of the paddles by changing the hole where they connect. br>I'm very pleased with my purchase!.
I go kayaking frequently and decided to purchase this to replace the "free" paddles that came with my two kayaks. The one that comes with a Lifetime kayak is super light (which is great), but it has flimsy fins with way too much give, whereas the one that came with my Pelican was much better, but it was very heavy. This one outperforms them both, striking a weight-balanced balance with a well-placed well-placed well-placed well-placed well-placed well-placed Fin is well-designed and sturdy. It elevates the kayaking experience to a whole new level. It feels very efficient and powerful, and it comes with a paddle leash. This purchase has made me very happy, and I especially like the price. This is a fantastic deal. EDIT - br>br> For the past year, I've been taking long kayak trips throughout Florida with this paddle. It has lasted a long time and continues to perform admirably. This purchase has made me extremely happy!.
Paddle for a very low price. Paddle has visible play between the two halves due to sloppy center joint. It's also quite heavy, weighing in at more than 2 pounds!.
So, based on the picture, I assumed this paddle would be a pair of paddles. It isn't two paddles, but one. They do have the option of purchasing two, and the image is identical. The paddle itself appears to be fairly light and simple to assemble, but I'm disappointed that I only got one paddle when I thought I was getting two. It's probably partly my fault, but their pictures need to be updated to match the description. I feel like I was duped into purchasing it when I really needed two. I'm not going to buy another one to match; instead, I'll go with a different brand.
I'll update my review if anything changes. However, as an intermediate kayaker, I am aware of the distinction between high-quality and low-cost alloy or blades. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and would strongly recommend it.
Even when the notches are aligned in the straight position, the paddle is not straight, as I discovered. It's only a smidgeon off, but it's noticeable while using.
