This is what my buddy did, and it came out great
The answer is yes! You can follow the instructions as long as you follow them The first step is to sand it down to 60 grit. Apply a layer of primer to the clean surface and then clean again. On your third day, you'll be ready to put your first coat of tough coat on! On the following day, I applied another coat.
There are 21 standard colors available in TUFF Coat, but I have had customers take it to their local paint shops to tint with no negative backlash. I hope this is helpful!

The block inside was a rubbery block you couldn't mix with anything else. Several months ago, I purchased both books from Amazon separately. On the Tuff Coat website, there was a phone number. A nice lady named Darcy answered it When I explained that one can was bad, the girl asked if she knew where I could buy a gallon of local fuel. As I was working in the shop, I had to rent a shelter from the rain. Darcy received a photo of my problem by email. A fresh open can of good food is displayed, as is an open bad can, with a screwdriver sticking up in the bad can. The bad can is When I called back, she said no one in my town had it, after verifying my Amazon order. In response to Darcy's request, a can would be shipped the same day. After I ordered it, I received it the next day. Thank you for providing such great customer service! On the web page they provide a phone number and answer it when contacting them. It was great not to have to go through Amazon they dealt directly with me and handled everything for I thank Tuff Coat for your support!.
I applied it to a new deck of cards. A great product for decks of 23' boats. I applied it to the new deck on a boat I had repaired, I think this is the best non-commercial on the internet It is the worst skid paint I have ever seen. The following tips should be useful to 1) You have to mix frantically, as it takes quite some time to blend in all the particulates. 2) I didn't use their recommended roller (didn't know one existed) so I had a hard time rolling My rolling device of choice ended up being a 4 inch hot dog Make sure not to push the paint too hard because this will push it instead of rolling it. I had no trouble finishing the project with only a few thin coats once I got used to it. Despite the high yield, it was better than expected. *3) Wear gloves to protect your hands from this stuff.
A little over 5 years ago I used this product on my boat and it has stood the test of time perfectly. Recently, I chose to use it again on my camper and it worked I used bare aluminum to apply the primer, and it stuck really well. Durable and easy to dry, the Tuff Coat is great. You need to layer it in light coats and give it time to set. The colors are also nice. Having said that, after several years of use on my boat, it is no longer as rubbery soft as when it was first installed, and can be a little uncomfortable for bare feet and knees. However, I would not hesitate to use the product.
Due to the speed at which it dries under the Florida sun, there are a few spots that are a little off. Do not use anything else but the foam roller you were recommended. For my application, I bought two, so I could cut one of them down to 3". You don't need to apply it too thick because the product does crack, although it is.
Our R roof was painted on the painted angle where the roof meets the side walls, front and back (painted curved surface). The TUFF Coat did a great job protecting the paint. The clearcoat had worn away due to sun exposure and had to be reapplied That would have been a major project, so I looked up how to do that with the manufacturer and matched our paint as closely as possible. It was not a surface to be walked on so I used the smooth product. As long as you follow the instructions, you should not have any problems. It is not worth cutting corners.
There is no smooth texture as described here, it is coarse and gritty! It's very messy and filthy, so wear protection and gloves. Make sure to cover anything you don't want to get dirty. The cleaning process does not work at all, and it really seems like a piece of pure garbage. In the end it will be a good and stable surface if you take your time. In a few cases, I would probably consider it for use again.
I bought dark gray, it looks amazing, and it rolls on easily. There is no doubt that the roller they mention to use is effective. The roller would not reach some of the areas, so I used a brush to reach them. When I started, I was going to do only the floor of my fiberglass 1960 boat, but it turned out so well that I did the sides and the back where the fuel tanks are located as well. My stern even looks sharp now that I painted it. As far as the primer, everything worked extremely well! I followed the manufacturer's instructions and I am very satisfied with the results. Although it dried rock solid, we do not know how well it will wear yet.
It is a good product. However, you do need to stir constantly. This is a slightly different sample color from what appears in the picture. Green is more dominant than blue.
