Sealing and revitalizing teak table tops with it has proven effective. When dry, we "lightly" sanded over the top with 0000 sandpaper and wiped it down with a cloth. We brushed it on overnight, let it sit the next morning, wiped it off again, and let it sit for 8 hours. A new coat was applied as described previously. Then I did it four or five more There is something beautiful about the top of the table. I did not add any thickness to it. The finish is smooth and new looking.
Cleaning and restoring the teak furniture to fully restore the original color should be done before sealing. They sell the product that can also be used for that purpose.
It has kept our Teak furniture looking more like when we first bought it by preventing it from turning gray. Until now, none of this teak has been reapplied inside or outside. It is always outside and is always in use. Just a few months ago, it was installed. You have some great material here.
My outdoor shower and stand were made of teak, so I'm not sure if they are teak-made or not. As I mentioned, I used 2/3 of the quart, but there were lots of grooves and cracks, so if you have several pieces of patio furniture, I would recommend 2 coats or the gallon so that you can use it again the following

I appreciate it a lot. It took two coats to paint the chairs and they look fantastic. I was able to cover two (big) chairs with one quart of the liquid. We received an old set of chairs that were very weathered. The first time I sanded with 80grit paper a mistake was made. The weathered wood, the sanded wood and the freshly scrubbed wood can be seen in the first picture (Used a solution of a cup bleach, a cup of laundry detergent, and one gallon of hot water to scrub). My father sanded them one more time after I scrubbed them with bleach. The second picture shows the background chair after it's been sanded, scrubbed, and sanded again. The front chair has already been sealed with one coat. While I know they will eventually weather back to grey, I hope this stuff will keep them looking good for a few years. I would definitely purchase it again if that is the case!.
Outdoor teak furniture can benefit from this product which is ideal for use in these conditions. Since teak tends to turn gray as it age, you need to protect it if you're planning on leaving it outdoors or on an open porch. I don't recommend the use of teak oil. As a result, I am attracted to mold after using teak oil. After stripping all of the teak oil, I needed to use a mixture of about 20% bleach and 80% water. By using the sealer, you will be able to remove the white film from the bleach and restore the wood to a beautiful finish that will prevent future mold growth. It is recommended that you use 4 coats to get good long-lasting.
