Questions & Answers
It is true.
It is stated in their catalog that they are compatible with 30 Amp cables.
In general, I tried to space them between 4 and 5 feet apart if I went around a corner of the dock, I positioned them every 2 feet I am 3 feet tall. I wanted no sagging or motion to occur along the cord between the clips, so I did not want a particular distance. There's no better way to get more information than that.

My power cable is stored in these clips at the edge of my dock so it doesn't get in the way. Prior to installing these, I would run into my cable when I used a dock cart. It was also a trip hazard, but no longer after I installed them. A set of stainless steel screws appears to be included with each item. Normally I would rate these 5 stars, but there is one thing that I don't like about them. Power cords cannot be inserted into the clips because they are too tight. It's a Marinco power cord, so I would have expected it to fit more comfortably. It only took me a few minutes to remove enough material using an emory board to reach the cord. To help make the job a bit easier, I wiped the edges of the paper with vasoline. As long as it's too tight and not too loose, it's okay. Those are nice, and I encourage you to try them, but be aware that they might need a little adjusting. However, my power cord may just be different due to its diameter. Although it's the Marinco standard 30 amp cord, it might just be different due to its diameter.
It is a simple matter to keep your shorepower cables out of harm's way and prevent trip hazards on your dock with these easy-to-install clips. The clips keep cable tightly in place and appear to be made well. A clip every 6 frames is shown in Figure 1 It is 8 feet long for 30 amps. The product I received is 100% what I would recommend to my friends, neighbors, or family members.
Despite my needs, they were able to fulfill them. As well as keeping it in place, it is also more visible in the bright color where there are potential tripping hazards.
It's hard to believe that the dock has such a great cable management system. The new Velcro straps are WELL superior to the old ones. I've tested it and it holds the power cable well.
In another marina, I used these clips and they worked for me. They were mounted on the side of the dock to keep the cables off the top, which prevents color fading and injury from tripping over cables. As well as hiding the cables partially, it has a more appealing appearance.
I have just switched marinas so have not installed it yet. Since we have seen them used by other boaters, we are confident that they will perform well.
I would definitely recommend it. A mounting kit is included with the units.
Over the years, I have kept these shore power cable clips in good condition after purchasing them in June of 2012. It is easy to install with the stainless steel screws that are provided, and is very effective at holding the shore power cord securely Quite possibly one of the most useful accessories I wish I'd known about years ago since it keeps the dock look neat and the shore power cord at bay.
