The rowing oar is the only thing. It shook my belief that it was two until it arrived and just one oar was there. It was nice to find the second one at a discount as well.

In any case, you shouldn't expect oak or mahogany to be very finely crafted, but these oars seem to be great so far (granted, I have not used them). I shipped both my shafts from two locations, and they match well and weigh the same, my shafts did not crack or warp like another reviewer reported. Did you get a bad one by accident? Let me know if you get a chance to dip them in.
The blade end of the oars is tucked under one seat and the oars are tucked against the sides as they are stored. I'm totally out of the way, but I'm always available if I need help. In most cases, we store our boat upside down on a rack, so the oars stay in place when it is done.
Oarlocks are not included nor do they need to be ready for one I bought them for nautical decoration, and for that purpose, they are fine. It will take just a little whitewah paint and a hemp rope to hang on outside the lake house. The type of use I would suggest is not the type I would recommend.
Oars I have seen that are the absolute worst I have There were dozens of splits on the blades. It was easy to measure the size by fitting my ruler in them, indicating that they were an eighth of an inch The depth of the inch is one inch. In the end (these will be returned), these oars would not last very long. As you can see, the manufacturer had to have been aware of the flaws (the blade was absolutely riddled with splits in the wood), but they painted over them and added a label that clearly said Cavianship over My attention will be focused on avoiding ordering anything built by Cavies!.
Shipment was very fast and I was very satisfied with the.
The price sticker should be placed on the right side of the store, just for a change. I'm not happy about that. My intention was to use this rod as a curtain rod over a window in my bedroom and it successfully fulfilled that purpose. A nice piece of wood is made and the paint job is excellent. There is one complaint that I have, however, and that is that the price sticker is applied right on the front side of the oar, and it leaves little pieces of sticker behind. It would have been easier to avoid all this if the sticker had been placed on the back of the oar instead of the front. I purchased some Goof Off to remove the sticker residue.
