As shown in the picture, the dust caps were the same. There is a rubber grommet in the end of the metal cylinders that I received. It would have been best if they had been all metal. The rest of the interview was OK, except for the disappointment. They fit on my backpack with no problem It's time to set up camp. In my case, I used Lucas- Grease that is extra heavy duty. The dust cap on one of the tins was tricky to insert. By using pliers, I bent the rim a bit to get it started, and it then fitted perfectly. It isn't necessary for me to use The seal and two bearings are all that are necessary. There was one box per side, and I really liked the fact that cotter pins were included. Kits like this one are pretty easy to handle. There is just one thing I wish was more accurate than the picture.
My trailer was fitted with these bearings, and I drove over 1800 miles across the country with them. In the original setup, I packed them with heavy duty Lucas grease in green color. They worked perfectly and remained cool the whole time. I would definitely buy these again and have no issues with them.
As far as we can tell, the bearings are well packaged in small plastic bags, the races and bearings appear to be of good quality, and installation is easy. I really like the price and the fact that they are delivered so quickly. Since I already have bearing buddies, I did not need the caps but it's nice that they will be included in the event I lose.
I have had no problems installing or using this bearing rebuild kit. This was an excellent deal, and the kit had all the items.
Within 50 miles, the car failed. A 50 mile drive after installation destroys the inner bearing. Ignore junk mail.
Presented well and in a timely manner. There were no obvious defects in the initial examination. A PRC mark is present.
Compared to anything I have purchased before, this is the best packing I have experienced for bearing replacements for boat trailers.
I had no problems with the fit, they were perfect.
