I wasn't thrilled with the price, but they're of excellent quality, so I'll give them five stars. Bite the bullet and buy these instead of the HD or Walmart crap.
It did exactly what it said it would do. My old one wore out over time (25 years) and I had to keep adding more plumbers tape each year. I was guilted into buying a new one after the boat mechanic called me a cheapskate. I didn't require two of the two that West Marine had for sale.
It arrived quickly, so it was well worth the money, and it saved me from having to rush to Lowes to purchase one from the plumbing section. It's a little pricey, but it's well worth it for the convenience:.
For a spare drain plug on our boat, it works perfectly.

A brass plug is all there is to it. It works.
Exactly what I needed.
