For my 1985 Mercury 35 HP 8 pin throttle controller, I bought a Mophorn. Everything worked fine, but there was a flaw in the key switch portion of the unit. Mophorn refused to replace the unit or refund my money, despite the fact that they had no idea why it was not working. Their solution was to give me a $35 credit to replace a $200 controller that had failed. You'll have a hard time persuading Mophorn to do anything. They didn't help me out in any way - even after admitting that their controller was broken and that they couldn't explain why. After dismantling theirs and discovering a wire that had never been connected, I eventually ordered a replacement key switch from someone else. If you have a problem with their products, don't buy them because they won't stand behind them.

They replied that they didn't know what was wrong and offered me a $35 credit in exchange for a $200 controller that was defective. Finally, I dismantled the throttle and ordered a key switch from a different vendor. I set it up over and over again. The engine is about to turn off. off, but it will now function properly. I eventually accepted the $35 credit because I figured it was better than nothing - As a result, I now own a $165 throttle controller that is completely useless. Mophorn should be avoided if at all possible. Spend a little more money on a better throttle controller from a reputable company.
