The answer is difficult to determine. Not every type of fuel filter corresponds to every type of engine. Filters of this type appear to come in two different sizes As far as the hole in the center where they mount to the housing goes. As a result of the fuel filter housing installed on my boat, I need the larger one. As a result of making the mistake of buying the wrong filter, I have one of the smaller filters lying around the house. When ordering online, it is best to first get the part number right by taking the old one off and checking it out in a brick and mortar store before buying it.
As long as the screw is correctly installed and it seals properly, it should be functional.

It is a good line of products from Moeller and I recommend it highly. During installation, make sure you remove the old gasket and put a bit of oil on the new gasket/threads.
However, I do not believe it was for a Johnson engine because it did not match the one I was replacing as the holes did not line up so I returned it.
Fuel is kept clean with this. A simple installation process.

My Etec was not compatible with this product. There is no description for the different applications, and no options can be selected. Make sure you are careful when buying!.

My favorite filter is this one. This has been a very successful implementation so far. The Moeller fuel filters are being used for the third year in a row.
