In fact, the motor is housed in a plastic enclosure

What are the safety and possibilities of slowing the fan down with PWM or other motor speed controllers?

It is true. There's no time for that. You can control the speed of this fan in several ways

What is the continuous duty rating of this ?

In order to avoid a gas explosion, the instructions say only to run it for minutes at a time. When using a bilge blower, you would normally run it for 2 or 3 minutes to ensure there were no gas fumes to blow up!

Is it possible for this blower to run for 6 hours continuously. ?

I run mine for 6 to 9 hours every day without any issues

Unlike a boat motor, this isn't intended for use on water. The expectations were not met.

What the hell was I thinking, literally. The fire was raging all over. Oohh, the fire. An idea and pancakes led to the beginning of the adventure. People say that failures teach you new things, but a blackout is not a lesson. It was only when I woke up on a deserted island with a basketball, duct tape, and OASIS MARINE incense that I realized- The Line Bilge Boat Air Blower 4 in. 12V exhaust fan is for boats. Is that what you are trying to say? Lake Superior and I get along, but it sure could care less about OASIS MARINES are double the amount of players in round two.
