Two additional flags, each with a different design, are also available. Taylor Made items are built to last and are of high quality. Two other flags, each with a different design, are also durable. The United States is the only drawback. The star size in relation to the blue field is referred to as design. It appears that the stars could be a little larger to better fit the field, (USMC Vet who notices and pays attention to detail when it comes to our U. S. military) flag! (Photos available) The stars are embroidered rather than printed on the flag, and it is well stitched. When the boat is moving at 45 mph, it holds up well in the wind.
The brass grommets were not in the correct location, and I was not a fan of the company's name being written on the white strip of the flag where the brass grommets are.
Garbage! This was purchased to replace a Taylor Made flag that had worn out after six years on my boat. This flag isn't even close to my old flag in terms of quality. The stars are all bunched together in the blue field, the stripes show through to the other side, making the white appear pink, and the fabric is stiff. It was packaged in a clear plastic bag with no markings or labels on it. This is, without a doubt, a forgery in my opinion. I went to a local marina and bought a genuine Taylor Made flag, which is in excellent condition and comes with Taylor Made tags and labels.
I recently purchased another ostensibly high-quality flag from Amazon, but it only came with one grommet when it arrived. I sent it back right away. The way to go is to go with Taylormade. This is the first time I've had a problem, and it's not the first time I've had a problem. I made some stainless quick connectors, which should last for many years if you remove it after each boating trip.
This flag is of excellent quality. It's a thick flag with heavy stitching, not a thin one. Unlike nylon flags, this one will not fray. Designed for use in an outdoor setting, such as on a boat. I still need to get the flag rings so I can mount it on my new poll. For the time being, I've been using wire ties.
This flag was just put on the boat over Labor Day weekend, and it's holding up well so far. We'll have to wait and see how long it lasts. We simply tied the canopy's aluminum poles together with heavy-duty zip ties. I'm hoping it lasts a long time because we use the boat every weekend (weather permitting). We don't store our boat because we live in the Southeastern United States and can typically use it throughout the Fall and even into the Winter, so this flag will be put to the test! The colors are bright and there is a lot of stitching. The flag should not fade because our boat is covered when not in use, but I'll update you in a few months.
I'm now a member of the X boating club. I use a Teak Flagpole from my boat to fly this flag at home; it was a thoughtful gift. This flag was created to withstand the elements. As I previously stated, I am familiar with Taylor because all of my boat fenders are Taylor. br>In fact, the company used to have a policy that if the fender failed for any reason, it could be taken to any boat dealer and replaced for free. It worked for me when I tried it. br>Because I will take down the flag in the late fall and not fly it during the winter, it will likely last me longer than someone who will fly it all year. br>Instead of just one, I would have preferred to be able to purchase a pack of three. It's a lot more convenient that way.
This flag is well-made and made in the United States. It has the look and feel of a real flag, as well as the construction. I use zip ties to lash it to some eye screws and fly it on a small, homemade flagpole in my front yard. It performs admirably and looks fantastic. It gives me a sense of patriotism; however, because it is so well made, it is heavy and will not fly in light breezes. However, with a little more wind, it flies very well. I recommend that you purchase it without delay. You're not going to be let down. It isn't even MADE IN CHINA.
