Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this while on the move? say, up to 45 miles per hour?

I've gone faster than 50 mph with the flag and had no problems.

Is it able to float?

If you're in deep water, the base, which is made of hard EVA foam like an offshore fishing rod, will float, but not the entire flagpole. You might be able to recover it in shallow water.

Should I get the 6 foot polr if my flag is 3 by 5 feet?

The 3'x5' flag will fit on either flag pole, but if you're hanging it from the ceiling in a t-shirt, you'll want to use a t-shirt flagpole. The flag will hang below the t-shirt from the top rod holder. When it isn't flying in the wind, wear it on your head. It is possible to have the 6' cut down if it is a little too tall for you. The flag staff is made of solid fiberglass, but it can be cut with a hacksaw or, if you have one, a metal cutoff wheel in an angle grinder.

Where did this come from?

It's made in the United States out of domestic and international materials. Be wary of competitors who claim to make the version they stole from us in the United States. It isn't, and advertising it as such is extremely dishonest.

They refused to provide me with a return USPS tracking number or a refund
3/5

Their flag pole is of good quality, but I had problems with the flag pin attachments and the cap that goes on top of the flag pole. The phillips screw must be tightened to tighten the holder sleeve when installing the flag pin holders on the flag pole. However, you will not be able to fully secure the screw on the pole by tightening it. So, when I put the flags up and took off on the boat, the wind yanked the pins up and knocked the cap off, and the flags and pins flew off the flag pole despite the fact that we were only going 24 mph. I examined the other flag pole they sent (I ordered two) and found it to be loose as well. If you tightened it any further, the plastic holder would be stripped or the fiberglass pole would be damaged. The pin holders are unquestionably an issue. Other flag poles I bought had pre-set flag holders that were tight and didn't slip. At 48 mph, they were completely safe. These poles are fine; it's the flag-holding equipment that is poorly designed and insecure. In plastic, a phillips screw is a recipe for disaster. I'm afraid I won't be able to replace the flags that were lost at sea.

It really works; Hello everyone, I'd like to express my gratitude for the outstanding support provided by the company
5/5

I, like a few others here, misplaced my clips, flag, and cap, but On my first pole, I failed to tighten the clips. New clips were sent to me by the company. If I had to criticize the product, it would be the lack of instructions that came with the pole. It might be helpful to put a small sticker on the screws reminding you to tighten them. It comes with a bungee, which is a bonus that I was not aware of. As an added measure of security, I use it to secure the pole to the rod rocket. It may be visible on the American flag pole. They display your flag very nicely, as you can see in the attached photo (well, yeah. The Penn State flag is excessively large, but it was flown to commemorate my son's return from his first semester away. ) The five stars are for the excellent customer service I received as well as the fact that it functions properly on my boat. If you're not sure about the clips, you can always use a small piece of duct tape to secure them.

Even with the bungee, you'll lose it while on the water
3/5

The rod holder is too light to keep the assembly in place while it is being assembled. The provided ball bungee is not a good solution because it will eventually untwist/loosen, causing your flag and expensive fiberglass rod to be cast out to sea. If you want to have the lanyard at the end of the day, you must attach it to the pole. Furthermore, the plastic attachment clips appear to be of poor quality and do not adequately clamp the rod, causing them to slide around laterally and require adjustment to keep the flag from bunching up. I recommend either waiting for one of these guys to wash up on the beach or making your own for a quarter of the price; there's a reason why there aren't any more photos available.

It's simple to fly a flag
5/5

Overall, I am very happy with this flagpole. It fits nicely in a rocket launcher and can easily fly a 3x5' flag. br>br>Installation is a breeze. Just make sure the clamps' screws are tightened. The clamps can be adjusted to fit any size flag (there are two clamps for the top and bottom grommets on the flag). Remember to secure the rocket launcher by wrapping the strap around the bottom. It took about 3 minutes to complete the setup. It took less than 30 seconds to mount it to the boat and secure the strap. It was a piece of cake. br>br>I set up the 3x5 and drove it at 45 miles per hour with no problems. I had it in place for 8 hours. br>br>Overall, the construction appears to be of high quality. I'm looking forward to flying flags for a long time. br>br>Amazing product that looks fantastic! My boat has gotten a lot better with this addition.

OVER- PRICED
3/5

I bought these because rod holder flag poles are hard to come by. As soon as I opened the box, I thought to myself, "What a waste of money!" I had purchased two. br>To be fair, I haven't installed it yet, but the price is always double if it's for a "BOAT. " br>I won't return them, but I wanted to make others aware that they are not a good deal, even if they are on sale.

The flagpole is nice, but it's a little sloppy
4/5

It works well, but I wish there was a little more foam to give it a tighter fit. Mine is set up as a dual-screen setup. The aft drink/rod holder has a console. I'm concerned that it might work itself loose and fall out at speed because I can't use the included bungee to secure it to the rod holder. I'm crossing my fingers!.

For the boat, this is a fantastic flagpole
5/5

I've been looking for something like this for a long time. I like how the bottom section has notches for securing the flag in a rocket launcher or rod holder, depending on where I'm flying it. In my rocket launcher, the six-foot pole is ideal for flying a 3x5 flag, but be wary of low-hanging bridges. I slammed it into a bridge at a slow speed, but the pole was unharmed. I misplaced the end cap, but it was entirely due to my own fault. This pole comes highly recommended.
