Really cute vest! It's actually just an upgraded fishing vest. It's a bit small for a taller kid. I told my son it looked silly on him, since he is pretty big for his age. I couldn't use it for Halloween because it was too small for a kid his size. However, if your kid is four or five, you may consider it. A size 7 and not larger than a size 16 would be ideal. Due to its quality, this really will make a great costume vest that can be used for costume play later.
