Questions & Answers

Can the gas blocks be lower than the rail on the upper receiver so that the gas sensors work?

You shouldn't put it on the gas block rail if it is lower than the rail on the gas block. If you do, your sights won't line up like they should.

It is set at the same height as a fixed front sight, isn't it?

In that case, I mounted my AR on a midwest industries free floating hand guard. I lined up both guns side by side and leveled the barrels so that both sights were the same height.

What does the adjusting the elevation dial sound like? Are there solid "clicks" when you do it? Could you tell me how many clicks there were per MOA, if yes?

There are no clicks on the weapon. According to Magpul, the following occurred By clicking on a point of interest, it will be adjusted by 1. A typical M4-size rifle has a field of view of 13 (1 1/8) inches at 100 meters Carbine type. Your results may vary depending on your weapon and the sight radius (rail position) on your sights. In the context of 100 yards, 100 meters is around 109 yards, so I'd guess it's closer to 1 inch.

Knock Off at a Low Price This is not the genuine product from Magpul
3/5

Fraudulent and dishonest, the seller lied about what he was selling. Cheap knockoff sights that are not genuine magpul products are offered by him. It was difficult to tell whether it was real at first, but became apparent when it was mounted on my AR and couldn't hold a zero due to too much movement and often being knocked over In order to use the sight, you need to flip up the rear, which moves the adjustment knob on the side, setting a different zero and rendering the product ineffective.

A wonderful sight to see
5/5

Make sure to be on the lookout for As a result, I received what I thought was a Magpul Pro front sight for airsoft and found that it was a knockoff. The customer service department at Magpul has verified this It came in a standard Magpul box, but I noticed a few minor differences when I opened it up. 1*
Support your state/province. This mounting screw has a Phillips head, when it was supposed to have a slot and a hex key hole in it, and it says Magpul on it with no thread locker. 2.

The bottom of the bar should be printed with Magpul. The above statement does not hold true. * * 3. On either side of the sight, a visible parting line is visible. 4.

5. As soon as a post is raised, there should be writing that says "UP" along with an arrow showing it is up. **fn. **fn. 6. In the end, the finish was not in line with had a gloss finish, where everything else had a dull matte finish. The Magpul Customer Service team told me that it's quite common for these things to happen. As I mentioned before, I am returning the item.

Authenticity is compromised by counterfeits
3/5

An Mbus pro rear sight was delivered to me in a fake. Turning the knob did nothing but make the sight spin as it did not adjust the elevation. The distance between the top and the bottom remains the same. Instead of a torx screw, we found it to use a philips screw to clamp onto our pic rail. I wasn't even able to take any photos of the product I received because I was so upset after receiving it. It only took a few minutes to print out the return label and ship Before you decide to keep one of these sights, make sure you thoroughly inspect it before purchasing it through Amazon or a third party through Amazon.

There are many counterfeit sights on the market
3/5

As part of my work, I brought these sights to the range. Armorer compared them to his exact model and was shocked to see how different they were. rear sight hole on the ones I received was thicker than I expected, making it more difficult to see through it. A tiny hole was located at the rear of the sight. The front sight started folding into the rifle as soon as a small tap was applied to it. I found the threads on the adjustment knobs to be low quality as well.

The slick, compact, convenient way to do things
5/5

My name is Rick. After incorporating these iron sights into numerous AR15 builds, I would like to provide my thoughts to help other people. My MBUS Pro LR Adjustable Rear Sight matches well with it. I have only used iron sights like these a few times, but they are some of the most accurate ones. There is a slight difference between the size of the front sight post of this sight and that from a standard AR front sight post. It is easier for me to shoot accurately if I have a slimmer front sight post since it doesn't cover as much of the target. I would say the slimmer look is more user-friendly, but that may not be the case for others. Just because it's slimmer does not make it better, it's just personal I like the best part about these sights because no tools are required to adjust them, which is just amazing, and because the adjustments are positive and solid. I really like the build of the unit. It has a very nice protective finish, is very low profile, and is made of excellent quality materials. In regard to deployment and retraction, there are no buttons, meaning it is easier to use, but it doesn't keep the sight in place as well as other sights that have locks that hold them in place. In this light, I have decided to use these as my primary backups The up sights are up there with the troy battlesights on my rifle, and I really like them. They are very slim and low profile, so they're easy to use. They just feel more accurate. Lastly, I'll show you some photos of how the sight picture looks like on a rifle so you can get a better idea of what it looks like. I will end my review here, and if you guys could let me know if it was helpful to you or not. Thanks a lot.

The rear sight is solid
3/5

Now that I've explained my scepticism, I'm just wondering why quality sights like this are not sold in This is a common practice, but why do you need a rear sight instead of a front sight? Let's be honest, the review is a bit of a chore. There is nothing to worry about with this sight. This is a very solid product. I think this is a bit too Windage adjustment takes strength at the level of a Terminator. It took a little while for it to break in, and initially I thought lubrication was needed. Not at all. Even if you use the oiliest grease that lubricates the screw to the point of completely eliminating friction, you would still not be able to In the windage adjustment assembly, the clicker that holds the sight upright or folded is pressing directly on the detent. The screw becomes seized on the mounting base because of this. What could possibly motivate Magpul to do something like It may be for the purpose of reducing space and making manufacturing simpler. Due to this limitation, there is no good way to loosen the windage adjustment to a point where it is easily adjusted without the use of a When the sight is floppy, it is due to the pressure being removed from the adjuster. Windage adjustment is next to impossible when there is too much pressure. Additionally, it will cause premature wear on the friction points and cause the screw to break sooner rather than later. The price was too high for me to expect something of higher quality.

It is impossible to be disappointed with Magpul! This is one of my favorites from Flip Up so far
5/5

In addition to reviewing the front and rear of the set, I have also reviewed the sides. It is less than three-quarters the size of the original Polymer MBUS sights and folds flat to maintain a very low profile in use. The front as well as the rear of the rail are tapered nice and narrow so you don't have to worry about them getting in the way, which is particularly important at the rear where the charging handle is located. The sights on this rifle are so slim they won't get caught on your rack - wider sights may get in the way, but these are so sleek that you'd have to be a total moron to get hung up on them. They differ from the original MBUS sites in that they are made of stainless steel instead of polymer, as well as in that they must be manually flipped up rather than being engaged by a spring-loaded release as the original sights were. The flippers flip up and down smoothly, but there is a very strong detent to hold them securely in either position, making it impossible for them to fall down or deploy Unlike the originals, you can adjust the aperture on the rear sight easily without tools, even with tactical gloves on. The inset piece on the rear sight can be flipped in or out to allow a smaller or larger aperture. In the same way, the front sight post can be adjusted without tools, either with or without tactical gloves.
