My buttstock has a QD mount, so I simply removed the swivel and inserted it; I didn't use the M-Lock. Aside from the front sling mount, there's nothing else. If your buttstock lacks a QD mount, simply slide your sling through the slip and save your second QD mount for another project.
The sling mount is of excellent quality, made of aluminum alloy and precision-processed, with an oxidation AII treatment process applied to the surface.
There's no reason why it shouldn't be done. I have one mounted in the mlok slot of a magpul forearm, and it works perfectly.
This item was purchased, but I have no idea where it was made. But it's a good product; installation was a little tricky, but I'm glad I got it.

The fabric is flimsy and saggy. Extremely flimsy and shaky. During normal use, it only takes a small amount of pressure to release, and it drops free from pressing against the body. The MLOK QD sockets appear to be out of spec when tested with another QD socket. Installed and practiced slinging, unslinging, and moving a slung rifle from the front to the back of the body. Within 2 minutes, the front QD socket on my rifle dislodged itself, causing my rifle to crash to the concrete floor muzzle first. The flash hider on the rifle was only scratched slightly, but the concrete was chipped a quarter inch deep.
It is suitable for two M4 rifles or one standard rifle. This is a reasonably good deal. 2. It is cost effective. It is simple to put together. All necessary tools are included. 5. Cast metal Swivel positions can be locked. On the QD sling retainer, there appears to be a lot of spring. Overall, the system works well. I'd make another purchase. I would suggest it. My only reservation about this product is how well it would fare in a deployed situation. Weekend warriors and hunters will appreciate this item. This should not be a problem. There is nothing physically wrong with this product, and there are obviously many positive aspects to it.
The swivels on the Lok handguard have some people perplexed because the listing isn't entirely clear. The swivel can be locked into the mount at different angles, but it cannot move freely when clipped in. I was pleased with how the mounts attached and worked with my sling after understanding this going in.
Holds up well in the included mlok adapters, but will fall out of qd mounts from major brands due to the sling's weight. You'll be fine if you only use them with the mlok mounts that come with them; otherwise, don't waste your time and money. These wouldn't fit in any of the three mlok mounts from three different manufacturers.
As expected, it fits and installs perfectly. Running crye multicam straps (Edgar Sherman) causes it to squeak as the straps rub against it, giving people who are sensitive to it goosebumps. The squeak is loud enough for someone in the same room to hear it. I'll need to figure out how to get the finish off. I can't compare it to well-known but more expensive brands, but I'll find out when I upgrade. My first impression was that it felt solid enough, but I've had chinesium break in half unexpectedly before, so these should be fine.
With a Magpul sling, it works perfectly. It attaches to the M-shaped M-shaped M-shaped M-shaped M-sized M- I like the lok system a lot. The packaging was the only thing that wasn't perfect. The original package had a little grime on it, so it was wrapped in a baggy and the parts were thrown in loosely. The product was clean and ready to be installed, so it was more of a presentation issue than a problem with the product itself. Because the individual connection pieces usually cost twice as much, the price was such a good deal; you'll save around $40 when you add it all up. If I ever needed more, I would buy it again.
The parts for the QD sling are good. The bottom pieces of the mount are too wide to fit into the main piece's ears. br>br>As for the mount, the bottom pieces are too wide to fit into the main piece's ears. They're only separated by a half-millimeter or so, and with some Dremmel work, they'll fit snugly. However, the ears on the bottom of the main mounting piece aren't tall enough to clear the thickness of the handguard (no matter how thin your forend is), preventing the pieces from fitting together as they should. You only have a clamping-type solution without the fitment into the ears. Only the threads of a cheap screw hold the mount in place. I'm not sure what I expected for such a low price, but oh well, not much loss here. br>br>I'm not sure what I expected for such a low price. br>br>I'm not sure what I expected for such a low price. br>br>I'm not sure what I expected for such a low I'd run these if my ARs were budget builds because they wouldn't be subjected to much abuse, but I can't risk a mount popping off and dropping the weapon. br>br>Spend the extra money on the Magpul mounts; they're incredibly durable.
With all aluminum bodies and steel hardware, this appears to be a very solid build. Just as good as a sling point attachment from Midwest Industries that I have. br>The pushbutton snapping is pretty smooth, and there is no real binding to complain about.
