In order to level the area where the scope was supposed to mount, I used a file as the mounting area was 3 mm higher on one side than it was on.
Before this product was taken off Amazon, I owned one of these, which is the model that was found on the site before it was removed. I think that is the best A second one of them, which I have, is I find it to be very disappointing that they aren't even close to what they used to sell. The first one was so well made, and it could be seen that quality control was equally important, as well as careful manufacturing. I am not sure what happened at Monstrum, but what I saw was so well made. Even then, you may be able to find something better, possibly saving more money, if you are handy with tools and do some light metal work, but even then, you can probably find something better, possibly spending less. I have no idea why the second product does not even resemble the older variant, that I have, it looks like a cheap replica. As I have mounted both to test, to be sure it works, I have seen that the metal is uneven, so it appears to be more of a DIY project, because getting it to mount, to be as described is more difficult to do. This is too complex to put a pros and cons list together. Monstrum's dramatic turn into a total disappointment does not make sense to me, or why it is making what was once something highly recommendable, all the more disappointing. It is hard for me to say whether their popularity increased due to the global pandemic, or if it was due to the fact that they're shipping their goods overseas entirely to save money and, not really caring about quality. In case you get one of these, here are two things I'd like you to do We would appreciate if you contacted Monstrum to find out the date when this product will no longer be available on If you want the best, wait, and don't buy it, until Monstrum takes the downward trend of the reviews seriously (here's to hoping), and returns it to, what it was I was once so proud of. There are no words to describe how disappointed I truly am.
I couldn't be happier with how this fits with my Gamo Urban. It has a 22-round magazine. Picatinny scope mounts with quick release compatibility work well with this scope mount. A very solid piece of work! IR and day time scopes both keep grouping measures within 14" at all times.
My review of Dimensions can be found here. It is a nice product at a good price and is delivered quickly. It does what it should. The kit came with two tiny allen keys An extra clamp screw for use with the 3/8 angle A socket head set screw is inserted through a hole at the top of the rail and is inserted vertically. As dimensions can be of interest to many, here are a few The following lengths are the lengths along 3/8 dovetail mounting Three inches and a half. Solid (2/31). On this part, there is one long clamp bar. There is no space between the clamps. 3 15/16 inches is the length of the Picatinny rail. A person's height is as follows This mount is 11/16 inches long, so make sure you have room for both the dovetail and the Picatinny parts when mounting it. You can no longer use the iron sights because it blocks the front sight, but I used this setup to install a reflex sight. * * **Peter.
For use with a Marlin Model 60, I purchased this rail. Another reviewer noted that the rail only had one screw on one side (which is normal). So after tightening it down, the rail wasn't exactly level or parallel to the top of the My Pinty Red & Green screen protectors did not make it obvious until after I installed them An optical device for rifles that has a reflex holographic lens, but also has a bit of cant. Due to the slight canting of the rail in combination with the slight canting of the sight, it appeared as if the Leaning Tower of Pisa was tilting! I flipped the rail around and now my sight appears to sit level with this combination. even though the screw heads on the rail do not stick out far, I mounted the rail so that the screws were on the opposite side of the charging handle and lever of the gun, in order to avoid hitting the screws with my hands when pulling the charging handle and lever back. If you mount the rail for the reason it is probably supposed to be mounted, then you should not have any issues! My overall assessment is that it is a good fit for my Marlin Model 60, clamped down securely, and holds my site securely. In that case, I would recommend others to it. I have a sight that sits quite high. If you look at the photos, you'll see that I have a sight that sits quite Therefore, it is recommended that you use a low profile rail if you are mounting this style of red dot sight on this gun.
A solid build, a solid feel, a solid The UTG 3 and my
UTG set well together This 10X32 BugBuster scope measures 9X32 inches.
The adapter used to convert the dovetail on the Gauntlet (another great addition to your collection) to a picatinny mount for a holographic sight worked perfectly. I was very pleased with the outcome. Either behind or in front of the breech, there are sufficient mounting slots for this. There is sufficient space allowing for long magazines to be inserted without any hassle due to the slight curved rise. I have not needed to adjust either the adapter or the optic as they were both securely mounted. As far as I am concerned, I'm very happy.
