Questions & Answers

If you do not have a scope mounted, can you make use of the iron sights on this rail?

Iron sights cannot be used on a 10-inch rifle because the upper is too low It is essential that you mount a scope or other sighting device.

Can you tell me where this product is ?

A Chinese company manufactures products for an American company

The safety pins cannot be installed if there are no screw holes on your gun?

There are already screws and holes mounted on a Ruger 10/22 rifle when it ships. Also included in the box is their own version of a rail mount. The second party rail mount was purchased from a second party and mounted with screws supplied by them on the basis of recommendations from many. As of the 10/22, the screws had already been removed. A gunsmith would need to drill these holes, and the cost would be the same as the gun itself. If there are no holes, the only option would be drilling. An arm mount that attaches to a rifle other than a 10/22 may not fit properly.

Is it okay to use a condor ss made out of airforce material?

It's a simple yes or no question. Pre-release information is available for Condor SS Did you tap the holes in the upper housing? Should it not come with screws, then you can have a gunsmith tap holes for you and then stick the screws into the holes. Afterward, I would use a bit of blue loctite to mount the rail to prevent it from working

Selected User Reviews For Monstrum Ruger 10/22 Picatinny Rail Mount for Scopes and Optics

The screws are soft and will not cause any problems It is impossible to use manual sights
4/5

There was a defect reported by many users who complained that the screws were It does not appear to be an issue to me at first glance. As of now, I have hand-torqued all 4 screws into position, and they appear to have a good lock with good torque, though I do notice that some of the threads are soft. As of right now, I view this as a good thing since it means my receiver's threads will not become stripped from overtightening (which I believe was the intent of the manufacturer). When I am at the range, I will know if the torque I have given to these screws is something that will hold up My opinion is that it will, but I will update this review after a few hundred rolls. I have nothing to complain about in terms of my overall impressions of this rail. From every angle, it appears to sit flush on the receiver, the mounting holes are perfectly aligned, and the channel depth is consistent, while the mounting screws are slightly shallow compared to running flush with the inside of the receiver (meaning no pinning). Shortly, it appears that the product has been machined to perfection. Once I spend a few days firing at the range, I'll know for sure. Despite the fact that there is a center channel running down the rail, I give this 4 stars because of my one complaint. The purpose of this channel seems to be to allow the original fixed sights to be mounted to the receiver with the rail attached. I can't think of any other useful application of this channel. This is not its purpose, and if it is, then it fails. The milling of another 1 is possible. After running flush with the top of the screw heads, the screw heads are inserted 5 to 2mm into this channel. It would make the fixed sights functional without compromising the structural integrity of the rail and without affecting its function.

5/5

Initially, I gave the course a 3 star rating since the holes weren't lined up on two out of four. My error was that I failed to rotate it 180 degrees before I installed it. All holes lined up when the unit was rotated 180 degrees. When I was the customer I resolved the problem by noting the installation error. As a result, I have no consolation other than I saw many other similar complaints, so I am not alone in our stupid.

When I went looking for a pic rail for my 10/22 I was drawn to the monstrum product initially because of the great price
5/5

I did not have high expectations for price factors. Initially after installing the rail, everything seemed to have fit well. When I tried to cycle the bolt, I realized it was getting stuck. Something has got to come to a head. As a result of further investigation, I found the provided screws were too long, making their way into the action, preventing a free movement of the bolt. After a few weeks, I get the standard Amazon email asking me to review my purchase. Although I was disappointed I didn't return it since the product was inexpensive. Soon after, I get the Amazon email asking me to review my purchase. According to my opinion, I have given my honest opinion. I received replacement screws of the correct length from Monstrum a few days later. Even though I did not ask for anything when I wrote my review, they stepped up to the plate and stepped forward. My hat goes off to you, If you do that, you will get 5 points.

What the heck are you guys thinking? You don't have to learn rocket science to do it! Honestly, I think some of you guys could make a forged anvil look like a marshmallow mess with a bag of marshmallows and the scary part is that you are armed! I have provided some instructions for the brain-dead
5/5

I.

Take a look at the rail mount when it is placed on top of the receiver. 3.
What are the odds of all 4 holes lining You may proceed to step #4 if YES. In case of no, refer to #3*3. That is the wrong way around! Make it the other way Four (4). Place all 4 screws in place and tighten them to a finger tight fit. This is 5. How do you like it? I like it! The number six. Removing screws one at a time, applying a drop of Loctite, and replacing them finger tight is recommended. Ibid. (
7). Make sure screws are snugged up to 1/8th of a turn using a high quality screwdriver. The number eight. Get your optic mounted and start shooting!.

The firearm does not have to be modified to fit
5/5

To mount my Ruger 10/22 in an Archangel Stock, I needed a rail to mount the sight on. I wanted one that could be simply screwed into the existing holes and be done. I am very pleased with this rail! As you can see in the photo, it fits excellent, no need to adjust the firearm at all, and the optic mounts right to it with The rail for your 10/22 will allow you to mount a scope or optic too, so it can be used to mount your scope or optic! The fit and the time it took to put it on were perfect. How will you like it if you have more? A good product that is easy to install and comes with a rail cover. It had been made really well and of a good material. This is an excellent product.

The rail allows for easy mounting on the 10/22 takedown and fits well
4/5

During installation, I had no problems. The rail allows for easy mounting on the 10/22 takedown and fits well. During installation, I had no problems. The rail that I have installed allows me to use iron sights. I was hoping to be able to do so. In a way. While it would be difficult to take a shot looking down through the rail, it is possible to see just the rear sight so I assume it will work. The iron sights may be useful, but I do not expect to use them - So as not to have to use them anymore, I bought a rail to mount an optic. As far as installation went, the only issue I had was making sure the rail was perfectly straight on the gun-- The screw holes are large enough that they can cause the plate to be slightly canted, which, as you might anticipate, could pose problems when your scope or other optic is lined up. This rail does its job for a fair price, and the price is right. It should be positioned correctly when installed, so care should be taken not to misalign It is not a major disadvantage (at least for most purposes) to be unable to effectively use the iron sights, and I guess you can use them if you My opinion is that it was worth the money spent.

Completes the task on time! On my 10/22, I had a pic rail with only three cross slots
5/5

Due to that, I could only find my red dot in certain places. Instead of using the pic rail, I replaced it with the Monstrum tactical Along the length of the rail, it has cross slots cut into it. Now that I have more mounting options for the optic, I may use them in different ways. A great deal of effort has gone into the construction of the rail. The bottom of the rail does not show any signs of machining and appears very In all cases, the mounting holes of the 10/22's receiver match up with the holes in the bracket. A set of mounting screws is included, as well as one extra.
