Is a perfect match for the Mossberg 500. As a result of removing the barrel, I was able to install the ring as desired.
a flashlight on it so it can be mounted to my Maverick 88 shotgun. Once I got it tight, it stayed in place. For the money, I don't think you can go wrong.
I like it very much. It took me only a few minutes to take the barrel out and install it. I love it since it fits perfectly with.
My review of this item was thorough, but there might have been something I missed. My Mossberg 500 barrel needed an adapter so I could put the barrel on the adapter. A large circumference is evident on this item. Initially, I planned to cover the barrel mounting area with tape, but decided that wasn't the optimal solution, so I ordered what I needed to do the job.
For the purpose it was created, it will function as intended. You should note You will have to use either shims or sand down some of the flat edges on the mounting surface if you plan on mounting it to a 12ga barrel. Generally, you should not need to add anything extra to your mount if you plan to mount it to a magazine tube made of 12ga. However, I am not totally confident in the threads or the strength of the aluminum, however, I would consider it a reasonable price.
There is a lot of beef in this mount. The scope was very substantial, but did not add any weight to the rifle that I can notice. We'll have to wait and see whether or not it will be sturdy. The cast aluminum cup holds 8 ounces, and it's made from aluminum. Due to its thickness, it shouldn't be a problem to use a tactical flashlight. This scope is easy to mount and fits perfectly with a 1" scope.
The specs on this rail are a bit off, it may work with flashlights or some other red dots, but the burris fastfire needs a deeper groove. This one measures about 0. 2 inches deep. Compared to mil spec uppers, 02 was too shallow, and if I filed it deeper, the upper wouldn't grip it, since the rail was too narrow and it would slide. There might just be a problem with the top surface being too low, but I agree with you that it's unnecessary.
Here we are not talking about high science. You get exactly what you pay for. On the magazine tube of my Mossberg 930 SPX, the bolt is installed for mounting my flashlight. I expected the fit to be right. It worked perfectly for me. I shot about 50 00 buck shells downrange and bounced the heck out of the snot in the back of an ATV while hunting hogs. There is no problem. I would prefer it were not made in China, but at the price, what else could you expect?.
