Questions & Answers

Could anyone tell me if this works on the Rem An integral sling mount is provided on the 783. Is it true the adapter that came with the uTG bipod fails to function?

On the Rem 783, the mounting points for slings are integrated into the stock itself. Mounting this on the wall is not possible because there is no actual stud. A rifle like that will not be able to use this.

I was wondering if it would hold up on a Savage 110 fcp hs. Can you explain the 338 in Lapua?

Although I am not familiar with your firearm, like I said, so long as you have a sling stud or can install one, you should be fine. I have a number of these mounted on a number of rifles, some of which are heavier than 10 I have tested it with scopes and they're all fine. It's a well made part. I hope I repeat Ed.

Is it possible to mount this on a Mossberg forend for a vertical grip?

On the front of my Mossberg ATR 30, you can see my sling mount As a matter of fact, the 06 (camo) does not swivel it is molded into the stock but does hump upward Is this something that I can use?

Savage 64 can be easily modified with this sturdy rail
5/5

Savage 64 can be easily modified with this sturdy rail. It takes minutes for the rail to be installed, since it can be mounted in three pieces I am - In the case of the main rail, the rail is dropped over the swivel stud, and a pin is put through the rail into the stud in the stock. *Add the gasket to the rail and snug it up just over the stock of the rifle*- In order to install the cover, it is screwed into place on the assembly. In step one, the tight fit is created by the two set screws that force the pin into a strong, As well as allowing a proper alignment, the set screws also allow the rail to be leveled with the barrel. As I looked at a number of different rail/stud adapters, I found this one to be the best in looks. I would purchase this product again for the future if I needed it.

On a scale of 100, I give it 90 out The first myth is that sling mounts don't fit rifles without them*br>*br>If your rifle has a sling mount, you'll be able to use this kit
5/5

During this period. Directions are not provided at all, however! That is why I took so long to figure it out and so many people think it doesn't make sense. It is annoying to take on and off at first but it is super sturdy and easy to wear once you get the hang of it! To mount the sling mount, you must take out the whole assembly and mount it backwards at least fundamentally, otherwise the pin will not reach the hole of the As soon as you have the pin in place, you will have to hold it in place as you pull the rubberized piece over and fix the other piece in space- After you have placed the pin between two screws, screw down the other two screws until it is securely fastened. If you want to mess with adjusting the pic rail level, do so now. It is this that is the biggest drawback In order to level off the Pic Rail with the barrel as advertised, the barrel will have to be completely free-standing. In the meantime, you can compensate for that problem with other adapters or tools (like I did), which still makes it extremely durable and very useful (since you aren't giving up the In summary, I would like to say the following I mentioned the things I think you should know before buying it it's nearly perfect but here's what I think you should know.

EXCELLENT adaptor for Caldwell slings that swivel around the Picatinny rail
5/5

I found Caldwell's model 156716 to be extremely clever in comparison with three other designs I have reviewed. It is important to read the instructions for assembly in the package insert if you are unfamiliar with how it is assembled. One advantage is that the metal is of high quality, but a second is the quality rubber padding to protect the forearms It is just as important to have a long gun with a good end. Designers at Caldwell thought of adding a sling swivel so that it can be attached and used with either a sling or the 3-point harness The fourth slot is available A bipod or other accessories can be attached to the rail Picatinny (my use). It is possible to adjust the twin screws in order to align the rail with the barrel instead of the fore-end angled towards the barrel End of sentence. (With my David Tubb bipod and his Bubble Level, I am able to adjust my optics so well that I do not have to adjust the rail screws. In a few months, the padding will degrade. I must say that Caldwell did a spectacular job on this adaptor in its design as well as manufacturing!.

I'm very impressed with how solid this is! A sling stud to picatinny rail converter arrived today
5/5

It's very handy. Through a small pin, this attaches to the sling stud so no need to take off the old metal My Savage FCP-X fits perfectly with this and it is extremely well made It comes with a barrel diameter of 24" and a 308 caliber. The installation process is very simple for anyone with a semilogical In my experience, the only thing I had to modify was the molded piece of rubber that sits between the unit and the stock. I had to make a small notch on the rubber where the pin goes through to allow the attachment to pass Taking out two screws and reattaching them was also necessary after the mount had been attached with steel pins that were provided. I reattached all and then snugged them The bipod is a rock solid piece of equipment! Nearly $100 is a lot to spend on something that looks so simple. On a similar piece, you would have to pay $200. 00. mean, maybe that's why the name is so relevant? Any person looking for a conversion from a sling button to a rail should highly consider this. I was extremely impressed and did not have to spend any money. In the event it fails in any way, I will post, but I can't envisage any type of failure unless the metal breaks, which is very unlikely.

This is a great adapter
4/5

My original intent was to buy two of these rail adapters with one being purchased as a test (I have three rifles with studs), the first one intended for the Thompson Center Compass, and I always assume I have a Champion 6 on hand. The ninth quarter of the year There is a pod lying around, so take advantage of After five minutes of trying to get the retention pin to pass through the stud and several scuffs later, I realized it wouldn't fit the T/C Compass I don't think it's round enough for a flush mount so the holes will not line up. Several of my friends think I should just buy a new bike It didn't really make sense to spend an additional $100 on a pod! after I tried it on my Marlin 795, it worked great, and since the forend of the 795 has a more rounded shape than the Compass, this led me to my conclusion that it wouldn't be able to fit the Compass. I admit I never had any intentions of having a bisexual partner I almost never use my 795 due to it's long OAL and because it's semi auto, the pod setup works really well, though the bipod is not really me. I find it funny when it's on there! After all this, I feel it's an effective product, I'm disappointed it didn't fit my Compass, but there are plenty of other models it can connect to. Another thing I appreciate is that the adapter's stud moves with the strap as it is slung.

Shim from the savages
4/5

For moving the NightSnipe 550 from the top of the scope to the forearm, it provided the desired result. Specifically, I did not like the way that the forearm tapered. On the rail plate there was an adjustment that allowed the slope to be steeper. The front of the plate had to be shimmied with rubber and the sling stud had to be unscrewed a few turns to align. In the case of the NS550 mounting plate, there was a zero adjustment that was at its max so the mounting was correct too. That's for those of you with a Savage Model 11 or 111. To shim about 2 mm of rubber on the front, unscrew the sling lug a few turns and twist it away. The front screw should be tightened snug and the rear screw should be fine-tuned.
