Grey Ballistic Lenses can be purchased under the following ASIN, B000E96EXY.
They should be on correctly if they are plugged in.
The figures are the same as they were in the 1970s. As a military issue, this is a great item!
The frames of prescription glasses can be large as long as they are not overly large. I found that they fit over mine perfectly. Nice goggles that come with both clear and tinted lenses.
Selected User Reviews For Genuine US Army GI Sun, Wind & Dust SWDG Military Goggles - Black with 2 Lenses Included (USA Made)
As far as I'm aware, these are US military issue (as of 1944) sun, wind, and dust goggles made by Mining Safety Appliances MSA makes these goggles, which are essentially identical to those from M1944. Instead of Polaroid, these are made by MSA. The quality of gas masks manufactured by MSA is quite good, since the company makes gas masks for the US Military, among others. There is only one thing I dislike about them that they are advertised as "US military type" which might make people think they are current issue, which of goggles was phased out in favor of goggles with ballistic lenses during the 1990s.
My deployment and airsoft have both necessitated the purchase of these goggles. So far they have been great for both of them. In addition to the lenses, the frames are also very bendy. As a result, the lenses can pop out if you stretch the band too far. It feels a bit flimsy, but the fact that they keep dust out and don't fog is enough to justify having them. they are great for when I need to kill a truck at a moment's notice or when I need to move fast. You should not use them while you are using a power tool. You can't feel that they are strong enough to prevent a broken saw piece from hitting your eye.
Only those items in the listing are included in the content There are a number of additional items mentioned in the manual, including lenses, slips, and case protectors That are not included here, such as those on the cover. Nonetheless, because the listing is clear about what is included, this is fine I wanted to mention in case anyone was under the impression that this is the complete kit (it is not)
All of the items in the set look untouched and look to be in new condition. As a result, the band comes attached with enough fitting space for an XL helmet to fit comfortably without the use of an aftermarket band. I liked the tinted lens much more than the clear one. Some people find the clear lens a bit too transparent In general, however, both seem to work well for light usage. The one I received arrived in good condition. A gear that is not scratched, abraded, or defective in any way. A ten-out-of-ten rating.
A pair of these will be used on a hiking trip planned Goggles come with a tinted lens that is semi-transparent, but the exchangeable tinted lens provided was a bit darker than they should have been This material is thin and poor in You felt like you were looking through smoke when you used the tinted lens. I find the weather to be very cloudy and insufficient. These would have been much more enjoyable if the tinted lenses were of the same clarity as the standard lenses. The manufacturer has made an inexplicably stupid move. It would be a shame if our troops were stuck with such equipment. The Rothco 10357 DeserTec goggles I got instead had a nice, clear shaded lens and a wider, more comfortable strap, so I ended up returning them. Considering the Rothcos, I believe they are a much better purchase.
The lenses did not fog up or dust, and I could wear my glasses without problems. It may take a few times at home to get used to the snaps being stiff at first - change out the lenses and experiment with them before you get dusty hands.
A pair of dust goggles that come with the military. The BCG is supposed to fit over it, but with glasses under, it is a highly uncomfortable fit. Other than that, this is a great costume for your toddler when they fail to use dust goggles on the desert sand.
Just the way I wanted it. Using these goggles for motorcycle riding is really convenient for me. Specifically designed to fit over glasses and keep you safe from rocks and gravel, these sunglasses fit great over my glasses. There is just one drawback, and that is the black backing on the foam starts flaking after a few One helpful tip, put a strip of black electrical tape over the strap at the back of your helmet just in case it blows off when you pull it.
They're awesome. Thanks so much!.
