It is comfortable, and I'm not sure how to compare it to another mask, but it is the first mask that I have played for longer than two consecutive games without minding that I was feeling uncomfortable. (The temperature is over 85 degrees in the summer in VA).
This mask is fitted with the lens shown in the picture.
You can breathe in this mask for a long time. Also, I recommend that you get a visor fan it allows you to enjoy a nice breeze while riding.

The XS II is just what I wanted after doing my research. My goal was to have the additional ear padding, and I got it.
