This is purely a matter of personal preference. It's something I use both indoors and out. With some ambient lighting, the tent performs well in low-light situations.
I always wear a backwards baseball cap, which works fine because the strap simply slips over the cap and does not obstruct the bill.
The lens will not break or crack when hit by paintballs or airsoft pellets, but it will break or chip if smashed repeatedly with a hammer. These masks are the pinnacle of paintball and airsoft goggles, and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another pair.

" The instructions state that if the lens is hit by a paintball within 10 feet, it must be replaced. Really? This product's creators made a colossal mistake. It's obvious that multiple hits to the lens in a second are possible. Why would I put my trust in this lens if I can't trust it to stop a second paintball? br>br>It fits well and appears to be well-made, but the product's main function fails spectacularly. Eye protection is important. br>br>If I can't trust this product to keep my eyes safe, it's just a Halloween mask! br>br>As a friendly note to the company, I'd like to say: Make a lens that is so good at what it does that it doesn't need to be replaced because it is doing its job. Its primary purpose is to protect the wearer's face from a barrage of paintballs. If your paintball mask can't guarantee it will stop paintballs traveling faster than 300 feet per second, it's useless as a paintball mask. In addition: br>br> Airsoft players use your masked as well, so keep that in mind as well. br>br>Build a product that will not fail and charge me a fair price; don't try to be clever by selling me garbage that forces me to return to buy more lenses on a regular basis.

I am completely unaware that I am wearing it. br>br>Secondary; br>br>Secondary; br>br> br>br>I've been playing indoor airsoft at least three times a week for the past year and have resisted buying a full face mask for a variety of reasons, but I finally caved in and bought this mask a few weeks ago. br>I'm 6'1" tall and weigh 200 pounds, with a huge head. I tried on a lot of different masks, but none of them completely covered my face like the dye did. The ratchet system is one of my favorites. My friend has an i5 that is a year old and is having problems with it. It's pretty simple to use the quick-change lens system. br>br>These goggles may have saved my life; they certainly saved me a trip to the hospital, and I was able to complete my sweep because of them. br>br>I was the last man on my team, with four others still alive on the other side, one of whom was locked in a room. When I smacked into a pole at a speed much faster than a "combat walk," I was focused on the door to the room and my red dot. It rang my bell loudly, and for the next two days, I was sore and slightly swollen from my temple to my jaw. It was painful to chew. If I had been wearing my old goggle/half mask setup, I can only imagine the amount of damage I would have sustained. br> Oh, and don't forget: The goggles, on the other hand, remained untouched.
This is the mask you want if you want a high-quality mask with a lot of features. br>In the i5, Dye improved upon a good mask, the i4. I own both and can tell you that this is a significant improvement over the previous model. Following are some of the things I've noticed while wearing this mask: • A wide field of view allows for excellent peripheral vision. • The lens is relatively easy to clean, but avoid touching the inside of the lens, which has a special antifog coating. • Before you go out and play, make sure the protect liner is removed from both the inside and outside of the lens. • Has more chin coverage, so it protects more of your face, which is especially important if you have a large face like me. • Once you get the hang of Len's change, it's relatively simple. However, it does require some finger strength; if you don't have any, depress the necessary buttons with a pen or something similar. • In hot weather, it does not fog up at all. I'm not sure how it would react in colder environments, but I live in Southern California, where colder weather is scarce. • Nice foam padding and a comfortable head strap that is easy to tighten and get the right fit. br>br>I like the mask in general.
When Dye first showed them to me, I fell in love with the way they looked, but they were far too small for my face. The i5 processors are just big enough to take care of most of what the i4 processors couldn't. The only thing that's visible now is my jaw line. br>br>One of the advantages of the i5s is that they use the same lenses as the i4s. That means you'll be able to keep all of your favorite lenses if you upgrade from the i4. It is very comfortable thanks to their new strap system. The new strap system is not only comfortable, but it is also simple to adjust and does not require readjusting between games. Last but not least, the removable foam is a nice feature to have. The i5s make it simple to wash or replace the foam by simply snapping it out and snapping it back in. br>br>I deducted a star because the lens removal system is inconvenient and not as simple as they claim. It's not just me; everyone I've met with an i5 has had the same problem. br>br>Overall, I'm pleased with my i5s and would recommend them to anyone.
