If Tippmann's advice is followed, a magazine marked with the letter R with a circle around it nearly halfway down the page would be compatible with First Strike. When you have a magazine that does not have the R with a circle around it, you can send it to Tippmann and (they) will return to you an appropriate model.
This is not the case.

The magazines I bought were extra magazines to go with a "SALT" pistol that I just purchased. The Tippmann TiPX pistol and the magazine I ordered fit the same and work the same as the one that came with my item, so these magazines fit perfectly and work exactly the same as those that came with it.
Invest your time and money in this product. The salt supply home defense gun sets are compatible with these. The guns work great. As a result, I now have magazines to hold all the different kinds of ammunition per situation. You've got to have this if you want to stock up on salt magazines.
Since it cost less and was delivered faster than ordering it from SALT, I bought it. There is a slight caveat to both mags. In order for the mags to go in smoothly, I have to press the mag release. The release mechanism is triggered by one of them banging into it, and the balls are released. It is possible that the resistance will diminish if I work the mag in, and out. I may also be able to smooth out the imperfection if I am able to locate As soon as I can insert both mags smoothly without pressing the mag release, I will revise this review to a five-star rating.
We have 8 magazines so far! A great magazine was created by Tippmann for their TiPX and TCR markers, so much so that other markers have been converted and adapters 3D printed so they can be used with A few weeks later, StarkPursuit came out with their Zeta-branded product It would be great to see mags improve When Tippmann released the TCR, after hearing the cry for more rounds in a magazine, the company released a 12th round. There is no such thing as All of the Mags and the Tippmann 12rd mags are capable of being loaded with First Strike. It is not necessary for them to be first strike capable, but these miniature 7 rounders aren't. *There are no other magazines I need for my TiPX and magfed purposes than these 7 round magazines. They are light, compact, durable, and powerful. What else are we supposed to need?.
It would be nice to have for magfed games and military games The Tippmann TCR and SIM are particularly useful if you have invested in them Taking a look at the TiPX combination. Though it would be nice to see these places allow FirstStrike, the lack of fields and games that accept FSR, along with the higher cost per round, probably make it better to keep them out. It is possible to load up on clips at this price and the vests and harnesses made specifically for firearms seem to work well with these clips.
A very nice magazine at a reasonable price. Very good.
The magazine that pops in and out with ease and the one that requires a little force to pull out do so easily. It seems odd that these are not identifiable since they are supposed to be the same. Due to the fact that I am using the SALT gun (Tippmann and Salt modified the TiPX), I hope that these Tippmann magazines are compatible with it. These are also cheaper than SALT magazines because you can buy two for the price of one.
These mags have worked just as well when I dropped them from 4+ feet onto cement, dirt, and mud. I have even stepped on one and it still works perfectly. Aside from the poor packaging, there was no negative to report.
