For easy cleaning, all of my older ones have a liner that pulls out with a loop. There is no liner on either of the two I ordered. Advertising that is deceptive. I ordered them solely for the pull-out liner.

It does exactly what you want it to do. Although the spring locking mechanism appears to be well-made, I recommend tying a knot at the very end of the cord to prevent the lock from being accidentally pulled off or lost.
