A velcro tab at the ankle allows the cuffs to gather. Individual knee pants are attached to the pants' knees and they are inserted into slots at the bottom of the knees. Although they are a bit tricky to insert at first, once you get the hang of it, inserting and removing them won't be too problematic. In some cases, the knee pads are an awkward fit as they fit below the knee if your pants are a bit baggy at the waist.

There were no knee pads on my knees, I didn't know they could be removed. The pants provide an option of wearing them as regular clothing (I purchased black). Besides allowing you to wash your pants without the pads in the pockets, it is a very snug fit and I wonder if constantly putting in the pads and taking them out will do the same amount of It is a GREAT RECOMMENDATION and I am VERY satisfied with it.

It's way too baggy and the fabric is too thin

Comparatively, the quality of these pants was not up to par with those that were slightly more expensive. The clothes made me feel like I was wearing women's clothing. I ended up choosing pants with a thinner fabric since the fabric in this dress was very thin. That feeling of extreme baggyness wasn't for me. It's crucial that my pants are loose enough to allow me to move around comfortably all day without snagging stuff. It was just way too loose for me and I had to return it.

We ordered two sets and one set had pockets ripped out of the package, the second set appears to be on par with crye percussion and this seems to be an Asian company and we all know what that means. If you are the owner, please step up your game.
